About 10 days ago I asked for fibre to be connected at my new address. Why does it have to take this long and why can't your agents explain what is going on in simple terms. I asked previously what is going on and the agent said she had requested CR. Had to ask what is CR. Just received a email now saying CR rejected due to below. Below was a screen shot of my rental agreement with the unit number highlighted. How am I meant to know what this means and what I must do now? Please ask your agents to explain to customers in simple terms what we must do to get fibre connected as I have no idea still if you can connect where I am or not. There is a vuma box there already so why does it take so long now?
On 29 July I cancelled my fibre service. I received a call from someone at Cool Ideas to ask the reason for my cancellation. I told them it was too expensive to which they responded there was a cheaper package that was about the R400 +-. I confirmed that I would go for that package and they could retract my cancellation. Now come Sept which is when the new package should of started I have been billed for the old more expensive amount. When I email support at Cool Ideas I am getting nothing. So now I must pay for the more expensive package for Sept and also for Oct as now I can only cancel in the month of Oct as that will be a full month's notice. Not impressed Cool Ideas and I will definitely recommend anyone to go to another provider after this kind of service and run around. I'm sure when Oct comes I'll probably get the usual call about why I am cancelling but I feel I have been misled by Cool Ideas in order to keep their retention figures up.
Do not use this debt counseling company. In 2020 I paid to go under debt review and the agreements were made with my creditors to pay the reduced amount every month. After recently checking on my credit score I see that I am not listed as under debt review. I paid The Money Clinic to go under debt review and they only did half a job and did not set it out in court. This means that if you ever get into distress financially while under debt review you are not protected and your creditors can take legal proceedings against you. If you are legally under debt review they cannot do this. Alan does not answer his messages or calls and will try and fob you off that he is not receiving them even though I email to the email address listed and also send messages to him on FB messenger and SMS. I have asked him for the paperwork to show that my debt review was set down in court and he will not respond. It's disgusting that he treats people like this when they are at their most vulnerable in life. Beware!!!!
I applied for an Access Bond end of December and after endless calls over many weeks they finally told me last week that it was approved but I must go into the branch to link it to my account. Went in on Monday and I was told they were off line and would call me. They did call to say they were still dealing with it and then nothing.

Called Internet banking again today and spent quite a while being transferred and explaining everything to be told they would put me through to the branch. Was put through to the branch but nothing had been explained to them so had to start all over again. I was told that the lady whom I saw in the Branch is off today so I have to wait and hope that someone will actually get back to me tomorrow. Can nobody else in the branch help with my query or must everything wait if someone is not at work?

Basically very frustrated with Standard Bank's extremely bad service. You feel like you are getting nowhere. They seem to think you have nothing better to do but call them every few days and go through their endless security questions to be told to call back in another few days as nothing has been moved forward. Very disappointed and still waiting :(
