I bought a 2 gaming chair from Makro Cornubia on 24 January 2026 for my 14 year old twins to do their homework..less than 3 weeks 1 of the chair broke and I took it back to makro ..I got a call back to say that the supplier refuse to fix my chair cause apparently it looks like someone was jumping on it , that was the reason for the break ..firstly my child only use the chair for maybe 2 hours a day to do his homework and he is only 14 years old and no way an adult or overweight..I understand the wear and tear if the chair was used for months but less than 3 weeks this is ridiculous. Makro as a big company shouldn’t be dealing with suppliers that are unprofessional and blaming the customer for their lack of quality. This means when I buy something from makro and walk out and if it breaks the same day it makes no difference, I won’t get a refund or a replacement. I certainly won’t be buying anything from makro again and probably look at other places like Hirsch’s who I never had an issue as ridiculous as this before . I am still in disbelief in the reason for not replacing my chair .
We had booked at palm beach villas for a weekend away and we were very disappointed. The security guard that was supposed to be here to open up for us turned out to be invisible. Apart from this there is , there was a hole in the bedroom wall and a window was also broken in one of the bedrooms. In one of the villas the power was constantly tripping, the stoves could not be used as well. There was hardly any cutlery and dishes here. The owner wasn't available to come down and talk to us. Overall we were very upset and we will definitely not be coming back.
I went to the crescent KFC yesterday ordered a zinger box meal...waited 20 mintues for my meal and after that came home to a meal I couldn't eat...The bun was probably a couple days old and had no saurce..This is not the 1st time I had a problem with this KFC but will certainly not visit this branch again
