I booked a lunch party with set menu for a farewell and birthday celebration. As required this was prepaid and on the day we had an additional guest and toddler. There was no hesitation by staff to accommodate my toddlers eating requirements and the additional guest also enjoyed the set menu. The staff (waiter and waitress) that attended to us where very kind and service was delivered with a caring attitude. I also decided on the day to take a cake with and asked that they serve it with some fruit and a candle - so my surprise the chef did a most amazing job of decorating the cake and was so humble when I thanked him for going the extra mile.<br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br>
I booked and prepaid (incl. the gratuity) as required for Valentines dinner, expecting 4 Star treatment & a romantic 'date nite' with my husband. <br> Upon arrival there was no one to greet us, we rang the bell in reception & a waiter arrived apologising saying that he had had to run from the 'bottom'. We overlooked this and followed him to our table. There we were greeted by the waitress who was still laying out the rose petals. <br> As stated on the menu we expected a glass of champagne but none was offered, nor wine list presented so we asked for drinks & were asked to give our full food order. Not having viewed the menu we quickly selected our starters & asked that we be given a minute to view the menu. Our waitress then left and returned with our drinks at least 15 min. later. Service was extremely slow, there seemed to be a problem understanding us & overall very unprofessional. <br> The rest of the meal did not get any better - food disappointing as most courses seem to have been left to get cold and hard. The table next to us played their own music. No management or other staff where in sight so we settled the drinks and left.<br> I am still waiting for management to call me.
