Best Chris Puppies is a website https://bestchrispuppies.co.za that "sells" various puppies. Once you have made contact with them they are open and communicative. They send photos which could be generic or fake, they are that convincing. A payment of R3500 plus R450 freight charge was paid, once received it was acknowledged and informed the puppy is on its way and will be delivered within 24 hours. Then another email is sent a few hours later from a "shipping" company (using Unitrans Logistics as the front), asking for further payment of a freight box and thermal blanket (prices range from R13-R16k). The additional freight cost was queried via whatsapp and email to which no response was received. The cellphone number has not been switched off and "Chris" is still active on Whatsapp.
I purchased a Twisp Cue with a couple of pods a month or so ago. All the other pods worked perfectly except for the Rebel pod. It worked for a short while and then just stopped working. I am disappointed and frustrated with the fact that I paid for a product that does not work properly. This kind of service is unacceptable. If there is a flaw in the product then rather remove it. I was very impressed with Twisp as a whole, however now I am having major doubts in the product and service.
I would not recommend this firm due to their lack of professionalism, rudeness and unethical attitude towards clientele. My experience has been less than satisfactory and has brought more frustration and aggravation in obtaining answers and feedback on my matter. The mannerism and service of Mittah Mahlangu is disgusting, unethical and down right rude. I have been trying to get to the bottom of my matter for the past 3 months now, and I am no closer than when I first started. Mittah Mahlangu does not bother to read emails properly and her responses are rude and unprofessional, sending the same response as previously in the hope you that you just give in and not bother her any longer. I am sick and tired of receiving bad service and treated with disrespect! This matter has also been taken to the Law Society for review.
From being advised that my matter would take less than the guaranteed 60 days, it has now dragged on for almost 6 months. Calling their offices to either no one answering to getting transferred to 6 different people who could not give me an update. Sending email updates, to receiving automated messages each time which did not give me any clarity on what was happening in my matter. Getting told I was provided with information, which was not the case and further being told that it is not their fault the government is backlogged when I was guaranteed that my matter would be completed within 2 months. Then suddenly out of the blue as I am about to take legal action, my matter gets finalized without any shred of evidence. Not sure how this business operates and/or what gain they get from messing with people's lives. I would not recommend them to anyone and would highly urge people to stay far away from them. They are unethical and unprofessional in all areas of business. I am highly disappointed in this company who guarantees to give people a "FRESH START", in actual fact gives people "FALSE HOPE".
I was insured through KING PRICE from 2013. In 2014 I placed myself under debt review. I contacted KING PRICE in 2014 to add a new phone, in the conversation I told them I was under debt review, my phone was covered no comebacks. I contacted KING PRICE in 2016 to add a camera, I was pushed from pillar to post. I got a call to say they not covering my camera and cancelling my policy, when asked why I was told they do not know. I received text message to say my policy was cancelled. I sent an email requesting notification to be sent in writing and gave them 7 days. The time period lapsed and no response was received. I sent a further email giving them 24 hours and saying that I would go to the Ombudsman and Social Media, suddenly I received the notification letter, the reason for the cancellation was because I am under debt review. I find this reason and conduct unethical. KING PRICE proceeded to debit my account in March 2016 after cancelling my policy with an amount more than my normal premium, unethical. When I called all I got was sorry, I then sorted the matter out with the bank because of KING PRICE ERROR. Not once did I miss my premium payment. I would not recommend KING PRICE
