Seems like many others have the same complaint, no feedback, no response to emails, absolute lack of respect for where their income comes from. It's bad enough going through the embarrassing process of a sequestration and then you are ignored and disregarded as if you are not worthy of a response to a legitimate question.

Pathetic service. No feedback. So much LACK of respect for people. Being sequestrated doesn't mean you are a low-life worthless nothing. They will NOT respond to any e-mail, doesn't matter how many flowers you attach or how low on your knees you go, begging for assistance. They just DON'T care

Everything went very well in the beginning and I was assisted up to the point where my final payments were made. Then it suddenly became not their problem anymore. I am now out tens of thousands of Rands and being ignored by Arcadia Law and the lawyers who were supposed to clear my name. It's been a year since my last payments have been made and I've received my court order payments, yet my name is still not clear and no one is giving me an answer as to why not.

I would not recommend this firm due to their lack of professionalism, rudeness and unethical attitude towards clientele. My experience has been less than satisfactory and has brought more frustration and aggravation in obtaining answers and feedback on my matter. The mannerism and service of Mittah Mahlangu is disgusting, unethical and down right rude. I have been trying to get to the bottom of my matter for the past 3 months now, and I am no closer than when I first started. Mittah Mahlangu does not bother to read emails properly and her responses are rude and unprofessional, sending the same response as previously in the hope you that you just give in and not bother her any longer. I am sick and tired of receiving bad service and treated with disrespect! This matter has also been taken to the Law Society for review.

Good day in 2013/2014 i used them to sequestrate me, they said i must pay an substantial amount each month to over 39000.00. I have also been told that they dont have contact details of my curator and ever since then i have been mailing them for help so i can sort this matters out, but with no success. I have now decided to go to the omnibus man to try and help me sort out such ridiculous behaviour from a firm that is supposed to help people.<br> May any one who reads this be aware of the type of service you get from them.

I applied for voluntary sequestration and was assisted by Arcadia law Chambers in this process. I paid them R7500 to handle the sequestration application and then paid them every month over 19 months into their trust account for my debt. My sequestration was granted by the courts in March 2015 and I assumed that all was sorted. I recently applied for Life Insurance and required a letter from the curator / trustee that I may proceed in taking on this new debt. When enquiring with Arcadia Law Firm on the details of the curator / trustee for almost a week I was eventually informed that a curator hadn't been appointed. Naturally I was extremely upset that I had paid for a service and almost a year later my money was still sitting in the attorney's trust account and none of my debt had been settled. I sent an email stating I need urgent answers and had no response for almost a week until today. I receive an email from Nicoleen Botes stating I should contact the Master of the Court myself and see if he can tell me why he hadn't appointed a curator as yet. Did I not pay them to sort this out for me? Their attitude stinks and I don't see how I will sort this out unless I do it myself!!

In 2013 I applied for Voluntary Sequestration and the handling Attorney was Arcadia Law Chambers. I paid the requested amount for 21 months and the last pymnt was in Aug 2015. I was advsd by Nicoleen Botes from the Law firm that I have finished paying my contribution amount and they will pay the money over to the trustee who will then deal with the creditors meetings and paymnts. They will deal with everything from now on. I was referred to Danel [Email Removed] to query the Rehabilitation process, I emailed this person on the 30/09/2015 and again on the 06/10/2015 to which I revcd a rude email on the 06/10/2015 telling me that its less than a week that I have asked for feedback and they have hundreds of clients with queries and I need to have patience, in the time she took to send that response could she not have a bit of etiquette to advise me of the Rehabilation process? This is so unprofessional and unacceptable from a Corporate company. How long will it take before I get feedback on the process.
