I went to the Telkom Store to take out a contract for a Huawei P8 on the SmartPhone Essential deal for R299pm - Deal code BYPE512022<br> Instead I was put on a SmartPhone Basic Contract with half the minutes and half the data yet the same amount of R299 is been deducted from my account.<br> I logged a call on the 02 April 2016 with Telkom Customer care asking them to put me on the right contract that I signed for, i.e. the SmartPhone Essential contract.<br> I was told that it would take 72 hours to resolve, after 5 days I called them back and was told it is 72 working hours = 9 days. After 9 days, the case was closed and I was told to go to the store to resolve it, and when I went there the guy at the store tells me he can do nothing and I must call customer care. I called customer care and am now told its 21 working days to resolve a case.<br> All I want is to be put on the correct contract I signed for and am paying for, but I keep getting the run around and Telkom is not taking this issue seriously.
