I am appalled with the customer service of this "new" spa in Century City! Rose was extremely disrespectful towards my mom and me. I booked online for a full body massage and had the voucher emailed to me from Wiki Deals. It was my mom's 73rd birthday and our day was fully packed with the massage first thing in the morning. We drove an hour to get there. The signage at the place was completely wrong but we managed to eventually find the spa. With it being 2024, printing confirmation slips are unnecessary when barcodes can easily scan anywhere you go, but this wasn't good enough. The front desk clerks were not friendly or welcoming at all. Rose came from the back of the salon and did not greet us, and then refused to help us with the printing issue stating "There's nothing she can do" and started walking away! They would not accept the email or the WhatsApp of the voucher which explicitly gives all the codes and information. We then went to a completely different company in the office park, they were kind enough to print the voucher for us but when we took it back to Rose, she again refused to help us. They refused to give my mom the treatment after we walked up and down trying to sort it out and if that was the procedure, they should have stated that when I called to confirm. But regardless of that, how Rose addressed the situation is simply unacceptable and appalling! I booked two other family members there the week before and they assisted them WITHOUT the printed barcode which proves that they were able to assist but simply chose not to. We were extremely disappointed and ruined our entire morning and again, it was my mom's birthday so having to deal with this, was disheartening, to say the least. I don't like leaving poor reviews, especially for new businesses but the utter lack of empathy and disrespect had to be shared. I usually follow the rules and even made an initial joke with Rose saying that it's 2024, nobody prints things anymore, and we should do better for the environment. Both my mom and I pleaded with her asking if there was no way for us to send it to her but for my mom to still have her treatment, because my mother was in severe pain, and she refused. Leaving there, not having had her massage and them having no remorse was disgusting! Managed to book elsewhere and my mom had a great day regardless, but I would never book with this spa again!

I am deeply disappointed with Lifestyle Home Couches' abysmal customer service and the exasperating delay in delivering my ordered couch. Placed in September, it's now January, and I'm still left waiting without any response to numerous calls, texts, and emails. This experience has been nothing short of frustrating and unacceptable.
I feel compelled to share the incredible service I received from Aveshan Govender, who assisted me during a particularly stressful time. With the multiple damages endured during a storm in Johannesburg, I had to put a claim in to my insurance. I know many times that natural disasters are not always covered by insurance so I almost readied myself to foot the hefty bills. But Aveshan was simply God-sent! He is not only efficient and highly intellectual but also so pleasant to converse with. I felt completely at ease knowing that I was in good hands and having somebody deal with a claim so quickly, never had me following-up or worrying if it's being processed. I guess I come to HelloPeter to make myself feel better..? Because the worst possible company in history will freeze over before they attempt to soothe a VALID customer complaint?! I have never seen more complaints for any other company as I have with Afrihost and they couldn't care less! They are quite happy promising customers services that they cannot provide, nor have an atom of shame debiting the accounts of the hundreds or unhappy clients every month. Always wanting us to rate their PATHETIC service, and purchase MORE PRODUCTS and services but doing absolutely NOTHING to fix the concerns of their long term clients? I literally never have a fluid connection. Literally NEVER. I've upgraded and upgraded to higher packages and faster connection promises to no avail! I have addressed these concerns Countless times, again to no avail! The amount of restraint practiced to write this without cussing and cursing... I feel like I'm going to have a ....... seizure! What am I to do??
Afrihost is quite possibly the WORST service provider EVER! I have been with them for a few years now (almost 3). I installed a WiFi connection to my Telkom line and I also have a domain hosting package with them, for my website. This comes to about R500 monthly. Not that expensive if I had the promised fast internet connection and I had my hosting service under the same umbrella, without any issues... But I contact Afrihost Support line EVERY single time I try to log onto my website from home because the website is under maintenance of down! I have upgraded my package a few times since I've started, I also purchase 50GBs of data that is impossible to use because the WiFi connection and website is down ALL THE TIME! This was downgraded from the 100GB data I initially was promised. With the change of ownership, this was downgraded. Seems everything has been downgraded! I have very nicely discussed these concerns and frustrations with several agents who would usually reset my site on their end, it works for about a day and I'm right back to square one! No matter how many times I have pleaded for further assistance, instead of short-lived fixes, nothing has been done. I run an online business and this has affected my turn-around-times and deadlines significantly, *****ing my brand image as well. It will take a lot of effort to change the entire domain hosting and wireless connection etc. to a different service provider but I've reached my wits end with this company!! I'm not sure how many other ways I need to make this clear, and I am not usually one to write a bad review but with the service I have received... What else is there to do?!

My hard drive crashed a little over 3 years ago, and being desperate to recover the data that had been lost on there I submitted my hard drive to numerous companies and specialist, without success. I planned on submitting the drive to what I have researched as one of the best companies out there for data recovery. I sent my drive to Pretoria via courier to ensure its safety. Once my hard drive was there for a little over 2 weeks, I received an email that the data recovery was unsuccessful. I responded sadly, and brought across what a great loss it has been for me. (sort of hoping they would attempt to receover the data once more, before demeaming it unsuccessful) I booked a flight to Cape Town to basically get over this huge loss and upon my return, I contacted Tecleo Lab to make arrangements to retrieve my drive, and I was informed, very bluntly that "Unfortunately the drive was disposed of". I was absolutely livid!!! Yet I enquired whether anything could be done to retrieve my device and I received a very casual "Unfortunately not" response! I am outraged that a "Reputable company" will dispose of a clients belongings without even the slightest remorse!! Whether the drive was successfully recovered, or not, it is still my property. I absolutely dislike writing bad reviews but the sheer lack of remorse or empathy on their end is just unexceptable!! I still feel bad to name and shame but the person I dealt with showed no sign of even trying to help recover my device! I cannot simply accept that my device was just thrown away! The only reason people even send in devices for recovery is because that data is of importance to them. The casual way this situation was handled, makes me wonder how many people has had to deal with this before me! I do not expect to receive anything in return, obviously apart from my device, but should that truly have been disposed of, I guess there is nothing I can do.
