<p>My mother who is 70 years old member of LA Health Discovery is currently travelling overseas, before she left she forgot to let the medical aid know, I called to inform Discovery that she was travelling for a period of 2 months, response, "sorry can't help as we don't have permission to talk to you" I explained that my mother can not contact them to arrange extended medical cover nor does she travel with a computer, NO HELP AT ALL, I informed Discovery that should anything happen to my mother whilst travelling they would not hear the end of it as I will go to media, medical board etc. Consultant at Discovery couldn't care less</p>
<p>I logged a call with TRSS Technical Department Wednesday 4th May after receiving an sms that my alarm was not going through to their Control Centre, they promised that they would send someone through on Thursday 5th May to check the Radio Link, Thursday no one arrived, called Friday still no response all in meetings, I have made 6 calls to RSS to get this sorted out, no luck. Called again this morning 08h00 am still waiting for someone to call me back as they were all yet again in meetings. I am not sure what a person needs to do to get assistance, I will be going to our local newspaper as well as our Residence Forum, the service from TRSS is absolutely appauling, definately will be looking for a new Security Company as this one is not worth staying with.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have advised my Insurance Company of the lack of response and security and that should something happen then they need to claim all expenses directly from RSS</p>
On Wednesday @ 09h10 I reported to Discovery Insurance that my Geyser was leaking of which is damaging my ceiling boards, the Call Centre Agent Natasja logged a call with Plumbcrew Ref: 1179155, to come out and rectify, as at 19h32, I still have not been called by Plumbcrew, nor have they even arrived, my ceiling is now at risk of collapsing not to mention my electrical wiring of which is a fire risk as a result of the water from the Geyser. You try to call, no joy. I changed my insurance over a year again from Outsurance, this seems to have been a HUGE mistake. Although Natasja from Discovery has tried to assist all she can, unfortunately the Plumbing Co. Plumbcrew has given Discovery Insurance a very bad reputation. I won't recommend Discovery Insurance
