I've been trying to close my Absa Cheque Account for two weeks and went into the branch where they told me they asked for the retentions department to call me. I then spoke to a lady in the retentions department who confirmed that she was attending to the necessary. I had still not received feedback and I phoned again and the agent told me that he was putting through a request and that I would receive an sms in three days that the account would be closed but it's been five days and I have not heard back. This is really ridiculous. An amount of R2 was waiting to clear two weeks ago and this is the reason they said they couldn't close the account. If Absa want their R2 I will go and give it to them at the branch but I insist that my account be closed.
I tried to call FNB Personal Loans about six times and each time, when I eventually get through to a consultant, they hang up on me or I hear talking in the background and no-one answers me. I simply want to update my debit banking details and this simple task proves to be impossible. Really really bad service from FNB, it appears your staff are *********** at simply updating banking details.

When I first placed my order I was patient and willing to wait in accordance to what they had said being approximately 21 days for my goods. I then received an email apologizing for the delay because there was a family member that was ill but that my order would be sorted out. Yesterday I received an email stating that the company is closing down and that they cannot do any refunds but will try their best to ensure that their clients receive their orders. I am highly disappointed and spent a lot of money with this company trying to support a local business and I can see that I have been ****med. It's shocking really.
It’s been over a month since I ordered my foundation and I have enquired regarding the status of same for twice and have not even received the courtesy of a reply. Shocking customer service. I’m not even sure if I will receive my product.
After receiving extremely poor service from the insolvency department due to their error and a delay in refunding me money that they illegally debited off my account I sent a request to FNB to close my banking account. This has still not been done and they have charged me my monthly banking fee despite me having given notice prior to the date that the monthly fee be debited off. The poor service just continues and they have still not notified me that they will close my account. I put in the request for closure two weeks ago.
