I ordered 3 Liverpool items from them on 19 November 2025 On 27 November 2025, after hearing nothing, I emailed them, and they said that the unfulfilled orders would be shipped by 4 December 2025. I received a Shipment email on 8 December 2025, which made mention of the THREE items being shipped. It arrived on 12 December 2025, but MINUS the most expensive item in the order. The whole order was for R2599.97, and the Liverpool F.C Club Fleece Top for R999.99 was not in there. I immediately emailed them, and two days later received an email response reading: "I will look into this and get back to you". A day later, after hearing nothing, I mailed them again...and no response since. They are carrying on a **** of epic proportions where unfulfilled orders, short deliveries, etc., see them make way more per order than they should. I, for one, had to tell my son at Christmas that the top he wanted I couldn't get him.
I dont even know where they got my details from, but they started emailing me, as an accountant and tax consultant, to sign up with them as a service provider and buy "credits" to spend on their "leads". We all know how bad 2020 was for business in general, so I threw a hail mary pass and signed up and bought 200 credits (R2000). What do I have to lose right? I mean...if I get one paying client from it I will make all of the money back. AND...they give you a guarantee that if you run out of credits and haven't been hired once, they will reinstate your credits to try again. I had ONE...count it...ONE meaningful conversation with a prospective client. That client eventually used the information gleaned from our phone call to have his payroll done by his EXISTING ACCOUNTANT. Every single lead I contacted thereafter was either unwilling to speak to me, never emailed me back, failed to return phone calls or simply vanished. IF you were an actual paying client looking for a service provider the least you will do is tell someone that someone else was hired, right? I never even got that...from roughly 20 leads contacted. In my business, if I get an email asking for a service, my closing rate on those clients is close to 95%...if not more. Explain to me how a site can have more than 100 leads at any given time for my field of expertise, and not ONE will call you back once I contacted them? I smell a rat.

For months now I have done nothing but sing the praises of Cell C. Based on my affordability checks I could literally walk into a store and in double quick time leave there with the product of my choosing.

So after 3 El Cheepo tablet deals on my name I Decided to upgrade my wife's contract. Her LG phone (after more than a year of use) broke. It's a known LG issue. The consultant advises us that they have this new package where you get R7000 cash back which we could use to settle the entire old contract and put my wife on a much better contract with a new phone for roughly the same spend as usual. We decided to take the deal.

So after signing this deal I literally had 5 deals on my name, but with one that is scheduled to be removed after debit orders have gone off.

My own contract with another network came to an end yesterday. The manager told me they will organize a similar contract for me in advance and all I needed to do was come in and sign.

I arrive there yesterday and not a single piece of paperwork was done. I was informed that having 5 deals on my name Cell C needed me to be in store. Please note...at no point was I notified of this or given a courtesy call.

We spent 30 minutes in the store with the clerks running around like they didnt know if they were coming or going. We were late for a doctors appointment. I then get a call 90 minutes later from the consultant telling me they will take the matter up with Cell C again today. Ever since then I tried to call the shop but no-one answers any phones or replies to emails.

I am literally at the point of dropping business for the day and physically driving in and get involved in a shouting match. I am NOT a difficult customer. I get along with most people...but do NOT promise one thing and deliver another. It brings out the worst in me.

LATE EDIT: I just received a call from the shop telling me absolutely NOTHING new. Still trying to get an asnwer from some Cell C department. Information he was apparently sitting on since earlier today, but "the store was very busy today". So busy that not a single 30 second phoen call could have been made to tell me whats going on.

Pathetic.
