The food & services always amazing. The ribs special on Thursdays is my favorite with a variety of basting available. They also have a prime selection of wine. Warm & inviting atmosphere.
On 1 May 2022 ,I made a purchase online order number 202650277793 using my account. The items were delivered on Saturday 6 May 2022. To my surprise I bought 2x3m Gunmetal Rods 35mm & I was charged for them ,only to be given 2x2,5m rods. So I then decided to drive to Mr Price Home ,Mall Of The South so to get the correct size of what I had initially bought. I was assisted by Itumeleng & Danisile. I was then told they won't be able to take the rods back as they don't match what I bought. Danisile then made a call to the online department which resulted to me & my husband spending an hour in the store . She was instructed that I leave the rods and my account will be credited back with what I was charged for the two rods in 3-5 days. She spoke to Fidelia and gave her a reference number 156651. And if that is not done,then I'll must call Mr Price online. 5 working days passed and I noticed that my account was not credited back. I then decided to send Mr Price Home a direct message on Twitter, were I was told that I was not supposed to have taken the rods to Mr Price Home, Mall Of The South because such items can't be exchanged instore. Still shocked as to why because curtain rods are not furniture. I was then asked to send pics of the items,luckily I had taken them,so I sent the pictures,still there was no resolution of the problem at hand. So from 23 May 2022 - 16 June 2022 after numerous calls,back and forth of messages, still there was no resolution. On 17 June 2022,I drove to Mr Price Home, Horizon View Shopping Centre to pay my account because I have been a loyal customer and then I decided to tell one of the ladies my problem. The lady who was interested in hearing my problem is Portia. She said she didn't understand why this dragged so much for my account to be credited back,she called Mr Price Home, Mall Of The South and they confirmed that I did leave the rods behind as per instruction. She the proceeded to calling Mr Price Home Online, which she was told a collection had been arranged by the courier,I made her aware that for the past 2 weeks that's I've been told. She promised and assured me that the issue will be resolved. On 22 June 2022,she gave me a call and told me that finally the courier collected the rods and in 3-5 working days should be credited. Indeed in the 2nd working day my account was credited back. I will forever be grateful for her humanity. Lessons learned from this 1. Mr Price Home Online doesn't value its customers. 2. Buying from Mr Price Home Online is at your own risk. 3. You will not be given what you bought.
