I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO DO A SIM SWAP ON MY CONTRACT FROM WEDNESDAY 23/01/2019 WITH NOTHING BEING DONE SINCE. I WENT TO ROSEBANK MALL TELKOM TO DO THE SIM SWAP FIRST TO FIND OUT AN ERROR ON AN ORDER OF MY ACCOUNT FROM LAST YEAR WHICH IT DEPARTMENT NEEDED TO RECTIFY. I HAVE BEEN BACK AND FORTH TO THE STORE AND LOGGED OVER 5 CASES WITH THEM AT THE STORE AND THE IT DEPARTMENT BECAUSE FOR SOME REASON MY ACCOUNT IS NOT ALLOWING THE SIM SWAP TO HAPPEN WELL THE TELKOM SYSTEM ISNT ALLOWING THIS. i am now waiting over a week for my main cellphone number to have a sim swap which is not happening. the callcentre blames the store the store blames the it department and all that is ever done is just sending an email and waiting for the person on the other end to reply to fix it. i need this matter resolved as it is my main cellphone number which is linked to everything i spend money with telkom everymonth which isnt a small amount surely from a service point the manager of the store can locate the IT department in order to solve the problem. i have been patient for a week but i cannot anymore as this now drastically affects my business and my life. please can someone treat this with urgency and get the it department to sort out what they need to so that i can go into a store and get my sim card . something that supposed to be instant is now taking over a week and all thats been done is emails for support pathetic service.
