Pronto to take contract but deliver Pathetic workmanship
Standard bank appointed Jenkinson whittle assessors who appointed pronto construction to rebuild my house that was gutted in Jan 2019 . They took a few months to remove the rubble alone and were using the old burnt material had I not caught them out . They rebuilt my roof incorrectly used incorrect material and after several months and requesting an engineers report did they admit they built it incorrectly . I showed them pics and they never requested the plans but did their own thing . I tried complaining to Standard bank and the assessors with no joy and now they insist on using pronto to oversee the rebuilding off the roof becos they got paid for the job . The second part off the roof was merely patched up with waterproofing like plasters on the roof and it started leaking in November 2019 and to date nothing . Record their conversations and have it in writing but I guess with my hundreds of emails to the assessors and Standard bank insurance I’m still waiting . My house was promised in June 2019 and hey it’s January 2021 and I’m still waiting .

They are Pronto in not resolving their problems
Nedbank appointed this company to rebuild our garages, workshop and laundry which were gutted by fire end November 2017. Building started midlle January last year and was completed end March. We were told we would have a year to check for any problems or faults arising. In January this year I called them after extreme winds had taken down facia boards not fixed properly. I also pointed out many areas where the ceiling and cornices were pulling apart from the wall. These were fixed, while also knocking down and breaking our kitchen clock. Less than two months later the same problem reared its head: cornices and ceiling pulling away from the ceiling. We're also waiting for our clock to be replaced and when contacting the company we were just ignored. I suggest Nedbank removes Pronto from their list of preferred suppliers and private people stay clear of using them.
