Disappointing Service

<p> </p> <p> </p> <p>We had made a booking for Sunday Lunch at Pumula Beach Hotel (For Sunday 30/10/2016) and the reception had confirmed that they had reserved a table for us.</p> <p>When we got to the hotel the security at the gate confirmed that our name did appear on the booking list for Sunday lunch. When be passed through reception the friendly ladies at the reception one again conformed that a table for three had been reserved for us.</p> <p>When we got into the restaurant the altitude and behavior of the restaurant manager was in total contrast to the rest of the team. She appeared to be extremely unhappy and made it clear to us that we were unwelcome as the booking was done without her approval and whoever had given us the boking had done so against her wishes. However, with great reluctance she showed us to our table.</p> <p>Her attitude and behavior put us off and had it not been for the fact that it was my wife’s birthday and both her and my daughter had been looking forward to this chance to eat out, I would have walked out.</p> <p>It totally messed up our mood. We quickly had our Sunday lunch and left but I must say I did not enjoy my lunch at all. On the positive side the rest of the staff were very friendly and supportive. </p> <p>Unfortunately, it was a Sunday and I could not communicate my disappointment to the senior manager. But I for one will never go back to that restaurant ever again and I would advise anybody going there to keep in mind that they would have to have a "Plan B" in case they come across the same Nasty Lady who was on duty on the day we visited the restaurant.</p> <p> </p> <p>In concusion Imust  must say it was one of the worst meals we have ever had.</p>
