This place is a MUST to visit. Please support them and the good work they do with these animals. What an amazing experience. Awesome staff that take very good care of the animals. Enclosures are kept very clean and they let the public hold many of their reptiles 🐊🥳🦎🐍🕷️🥰

Birthday at Pure Venom
I recently had my sons birthday party at Pure Venom in Margate. He had an amazing time, and I just want to thank Terrence, Karen and the staff for making it really special. Can't wait to go again.

Highly over rated
Having 2 little kids with a passion for reptiles especially snakes we wanted them to learn the dangers of snakes while still having the love and respect needed. Upon paying our guide was called telephonically and a question was posed of what skin colour we are to which he was told white. I'm not sure what that has to do with running a reptile park and frankly its offensive as at that stage I wanted to ask for the money back and leave but had Hope's it would be worth it. Boy was I wrong. Our guide read all the signs to tell us about the snakes which we could have done ourselves anyway. No effort was made to educate the children and viewing the snakes was done in a rush. You pay a heck of a fee to go in and if you wish to take a photo with one of the big boa constrictors it's an additional 60 p.p. I don't recommend pure venom nor will I ever return.

Pure venom snake park shelly beach
Drove 80km to get here, upon arrival all is looking good, get to the counter to pay and they dont have a card machine...best of all no atm. Reception tells us we can do a eft but they are fnb and we were nedbank, so she she says "oh ok, when the money show on our account you can come through" and when we said that it could take up to two days she just says eish...for a tourist attraction that we drove very far for they are not a very good host to clients. I do not recommend this tourist attraction.
