I’m extremely disappointed with both Quicket and the Once Upon A Time organisers. I purchased my ticket with the refund option, specifically so I would have the flexibility to get my money back if needed. However, when I tried to process the refund, the system simply wouldn’t allow me to do so. What’s worse is the lack of support. Despite paying extra for the refund option, I’ve been left going in circles with no clear assistance and no resolution. It feels unfair and misleading to offer a refund option that can’t actually be used when needed. As a customer who followed the terms and paid for the additional service, I expected better from both Quicket and the event organisers. This experience has been frustrating, and I’m genuinely dissatisfied with how the situation has been handled.

Good day, My friends and I purchased 3 tickets from the quicket site in December of 2024, for an RnB Campout event that was said to take place on the weekend of the 16th of December. The tickets cost R750 each. The event was then rescheduled to the weekend of the 14th of February. However, we were informed earlier in the week before the 14th that the event was cancelled due to low ticket sales and that our tickets would be refunded. They then failed to provide the refund and were quiet for months. When we inquired about the refund, we were told by representatives of quicket via email that they would not refund the money and that we need to contact the organiser of the event, who we do not know, nor have any contact information of. After going back and forth on email with quicket, we still haven’t received a refund and now our emails are being ignored. It has been 3 months since the event was cancelled. We want the money back, we did not agree to losing the amount we paid in event of a cancellation. This is absurd!

I bought and paid for event tickets for June 14-16 and BOUGHT insurance with Quikset in case of cancellation. The event was cancelled and move to October. I cannot attend and have asked for my refund to be processed. I'm having all sorts of trouble with Quickset not that they owe me money. Its a **** Dont buy insurance because they don't refund the tickets: Order reference: QTK43166454 x 2 tickets date issued: 2025/05/02

I bought a ticket for an event for the 12th April, which included (as a recommended option) protection for a refund against being unable to attend. However, the organizer canceled the event and notified quicket first. My first indication that something had gone awry was an email from quicket notifying me that my protection had bee6canceled, without an explanation, after taking my payment for it! Then I received a text from the organizer explaining why the event had been canceled and postponed to a later date, and I could claim a refund from quicket. Ha! Quicket were suddenly non-replying to emails, saying it's an unmonitored email! HOW CONVENIENT! I went back to the organizer who was also showing reluctance to refund me. I will never buy another event through quicket again, their "protection" is a flipping ****!!! I still haven't been able to retrieve my payment from either the organizer or quicket! BE WARNED! THIS SEEMS TO BE A NEW TYPE OF ****.... WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO? If I don't receive my refund, I will add another review about the organizer as well....

Please be very aware if you book tickets for music shows on Quicket and you decide to pay the extra amounts to ' cover' and ' protect' your purchase. It's only for absurd situations like death in the family. So, if you have any other reason, for example you forgot about a birthday party of family function. You will not get your money back. The main reason paying extra for cover is to get your money back. No matter your reason. Very very disappointed. Rather make sure you can attend the show. But DON'T take the 'cover extra amount.
