My friends and I purchased 3 tickets from the quicket site in December of 2024, for an RnB Campout event that was said to take place on the weekend of the 16th of December. The tickets cost R750 each. The event was then rescheduled to the weekend of the 14th of February. However, we were informed earlier in the week before the 14th that the event was cancelled due to low ticket sales and that our tickets would be refunded. They then failed to provide the refund and were quiet for months. When we inquired about the refund, we were told by representatives of quicket via email that they would not refund the money and that we need to contact the organiser of the event, who we do not know, nor have any contact information of. After going back and forth on email with quicket, we still haven’t received a refund and now our emails are being ignored. It has been 3 months since the event was cancelled. We want the money back, we did not agree to losing the amount we paid in event of a cancellation. This is absurd!
