My car was parked at OR Tambo for a day and the next day (2 December 2023)when I came back I had a huge crack in my windscreen. I told the guy that brought my key to me and he said that I had to report it to the number that I booked with. I messaged the number and he said that he would get back to me, I then messaged him again and he said that he has to connect to the insurance and it would take a bit longer. I told him to please send through the details and from there on haven’t got any feedback or reply.

On Monday, 10 July I left my vehicle with them to be collected on Tuesday 11 July. After collecting my vehicle I noticed that the fuel level has considerably reduced. My average fuel use per km also reduced from 21KM/L to 16KM/L. A called the number and the person assured me that he was the only person driving the vehicle and the vehicle was driven to the storage location and back. Confronting him, he became very rude. My initial assumption was that fuel was removed from the car. I have a Discovery sensor in my vehicle and although the sensor cannot provide information on routes traveled without my phone, it does record time and distance traveled. On Monday, 10 July the vehicle was used 8 times. These are the details from the Discovery logging report. 8 trips took place on Monday, 10 July 2023 05:41-06:08. 27min. Distance traveled. 26km. Over speeding and excessive braking recorded. 07:08-07:16. 8min. Distance traveled. Unknown 07:30-07:44. 14min. Distance traveled. 14km. Over speeding and excessive braking recorded. 07:55:08:00. 13min. Distance traveled. Unknown 08:28-08:36. 8min. Distance traveled. Unknown 08:42-08:44. 2min. Distance traveled. Unknown 08:53-08:56. 3min. Distance traveled. Unknown 10:32-10:37. 5min. Distance traveled. Unknown Over speeding and excessive braking was also recorded. From there I presume the reduction in fuel consumption. The points deducted for these trips by discovery is more that all of the points deducted to date since I have had the vehicle.

Don’t Trust Rainbow Parking Johannesburg OR Tambo service providers, everything you see on their adds is fake. They used my vehicle while it was in their possession without my permission. I have confirmed that on my tracking device. The manager was in complete denial and clearly distanced him of any responsibility.

For a couple of years I've used this company because I trusted them as I always received my car with no damages. There were moments where I would find the car was not adequately washed despite having paid for the service but I just left it there. Recently though I noticed my petrol would be so low when they returned the car so I started monitoring my mileage when I dropped the car. The last time I used them I made sure I asked the guy how far was their premises and they told me it is 17km away from the airport, which means 36km would be enough to drop and return. After receiving the car, I quickly calculated the mileage covered and had my jaw dropped, a whooping 80km +. I could not believe it and didn't even have the energy to write a complaint or ask the person who dropped the car. Someone used my car for their own errands and that’s when I immediately lost trust in this company and any other airport parking Service Company. So anyone reading this, do yourself a favour and book at the “DSP1 Pre-Booked Parking (Lower Ba*****t)” at OR Tambo you will find competitive rate or even better than them. I used it in November 2021 parking for 4 days and paid R272.

My car was meant to be parked in their "secure facility" for five days. Upon receiving my car back it was clear that someone had driven my car to run personal errands. Not only was my car a quarter tank of fuel less than when I dropped it off, but it also had pieces of food as well as a slip for a restaurant with a time stamp for when my car was meant to be at their facility. My car had acquired damage to the sun visor. After trying to get explanations they just started ignoring my emails. The person I was dealing with over email and phone calls (Leon), was highly unprofessional and never accepted any responsibility for anything. He had no respect for his customers and would not even tike the time to type the word "you" in an email. I am going to report this to the correct authorities as they "stole" my car and damaged it. I would never recommend this parking service company to anyone.

I paid R450 directly to Rainbow Airport Parking to have my car valeted during my travelling. They returned my car to the airport on the evening of 23 March 2021. The next morning upon inspection in daylight, my car has barely been cleaned, with new stains on my ceiling. I have sent pictures to Leon and was told that this would be addressed. I have requested a refund and provided my banking details. He shifted blame to a car wash they make use of and never got back to me.
