I took my son's bike in for repairs as the bike is still under guarantee they booked it in for bearings and obviously the chain I then got a quote with extra things on and I then called to have that extra removed I then received a quote and then I received a new quote and the total of the first quote was a R200 more then the original quote Game promenade and Raleigh technician and the company itself is the worse I would not advice people to make use of there service

This site reflected a multitude of complaints against Raleigh Bicycles last year. Most strange that only 2 complaints are now showing? I purchased a new Raleigh Ranger in October 2025, and having cycled less than 60kms needed to have RUSTED BEARINGS replaced. This has been the complaint of loads of consumers previously on this platform, Communication from Raleigh is appalling, and after 3 months of nagging them I am absolutely dissatisfied with their response. I will be taking this matter further ON BEHALF OF ALL UNHAPPY CONSUMERS AGAINST RALEIGH BICYCLES . DO NOT PURCHASE A RALEIGH BICYCLE ! If there was a ZERO star that is what would be given.

Bought a Raleigh Spectra bicycle for my son yesterday and there were parts missing from the box. This morning, I called the head office at 8h10 and 9h00 and was advised that I will be contacted. It is now 1pm and no response. I also emailed yet no response

I am so disappointed. Bought a Raleigh bike with training wheels for my son. He loves it rides daily. The training wheels rubber though cam off within a week. I took the bike back to Makro Milnerton, where the Raleigh sales rep blamed me for the rubber coming off. He refused to replace it. The manager though was very helpful and replaced the wheels. The sales rep then said that he guaranteed that now because the wheels were balanced the rubber would not come off again. He 2 weeks later - rubber of training wheels is coming off again. So unfortunate - have tried to contact Raleigh themselves with no response from them. And all I get from the rep is that they will not replace them again. We bought the bike on 24 September - it's just over a month old and the training wheels rubber is not holding. Super disappointed.
