Last week took my dog 3 times to see Peter the vet at Randburg Vet. He put my dog on antibiotic which I told him was not working, then he put my dog on pain killers which did not work. I went back and said nothing is working and there is a problem with my dog who is 7 years old. He said he is fine. That evening my dog died. I phoned Linda the receptionist the next day to tell her my dog had died. Peter was not at the Vet as he does not work on Wednesdays. But I left a message for Peter. He has never returned my phone call. I have been going to Randburg Vet since 2008. Beware Peter is too old to be operating as a Vet he has passed his sell by date and is not interested in helping you see what is wrong with your animal.

Dr Roberts was most unhelpful and what I would regard as trying to sabotage the exportation of my cat. Firstly she refused to stamp the papers when I returned the first day (after the papers were rejected by the state vet as they had not been stamped), even though the receptionist had 1. offered to fetch her children from school, 2. offered to take the papers to Dr Roberts home with the stamp to get them sorted. I returned the next day to the first possible appointment and Dr Roberts was rude to me, she insulted the state vet, she said things that can be interpreted as racist about the employees at the state vet and I am concerned that her rudeness to me may be that she is ****phobic. She also blamed the documents although the gentleman from the freighting company ITTAgroup says he has had pets approved by the Randburg Vet with the same papers so he has no idea what she was on about. Again when I met with the state vet yet again the next day, it was discovered that Dr Roberts had again omitted information from the papers. Copies to prove that have been emailed to the clinic. This caused another ordeal for me and without the help of the state vet to organize to resolve the problem. My cat and I would have missed our flights at the cost of over R15,000

My greatest problem was that I had an agenda to follow before I was to leave SA for the final time. I expected to have all my dealings with my cat's papers completed by 2pm the previous day as my meeting with the state vet was at 12pm. I had planned to spend the afternoon arranging my household sea freight consignment and the whole of the next day spending with my 83 yo mother whom I may never see again. Instead I spent the entire 2 days trying to fix up the mess of the papers that Dr Roberts caused. I did not see my mother and I have had to ask a friend to sort out my freight else I would have missed a non refundable flight.

Dr Roberts took away one of the most important things that I still wanted and needed to do in my lifetime. Spend time with my mother who is still lucid but will not be for much longer as she has the onset of dementia. That was not possible. For that I feel Dr Roberts should be responsible for her actions.
