THINK TWICE!! GUARANTEED!!

THINK TWICE!! GUARANTEED!! We recently purchased a property that included both a house and a flat, rented out by Rapid. While the house was cleaned and handed over in acceptable condition, the flat was left in a disgusting and unhygienic state. Rapid claimed the property was sold voetstoots, but failed to disclose the poor condition of the flat, and also damage to outside equipment, ****** equipment, water leakage, etc. which only became visible once we received the "some" keys.

I first rented a house from them and then bought the property listed by them. Despite being two separate units, both were managed by the same agency, and I expected consistent standards of care and maintenance. Instead, I was held liable for cleaning issues at the first rented house caused by previous tenants and Rapid is hiding behind voetstoots on the bought property to leave a house with broken equipment that they knew about and filthy flat without cleaning.

To make matters worse: Rapid is deducting obscure money for cleaning whilst I personally cleaned. The previous tenants from the bought property left overnight, and it’s possible that their deposit was withheld, but the property was never cleaned. Damages and ****** equipment were never disclosed prior to the sale of the property. Rapid’s lack of transparency and inconsistent standards are deeply concerning. If you're considering using them as a rental or property agency, I strongly advise you to think twice ... "brilliant" to move in as a tenant-a night-mare to move out and a night-mare to be a buyer!
