I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and dissatisfaction with the level of care and service I received at your emergency unit recently. On 11 September 2024], my wife and son brought me to the emergency unit due to a broken ankle. The experience I encountered was far from what I expected from a reputable hospital like Rph.
From the moment we arrived, the reception staff displayed an utter lack of care or concern for my condition. They were unwilling to assist us and showed absolutely no sympathy for the situation. Their demeanor was not only unprofessional but also cold and dismissive, which added unnecessary stress to an already painful experience.
What was even more shocking was the behavior of the nurses. Right in front of us, they engaged in an argument about who would administer my injection. This kind of unprofessionalism, especially in a hospital setting where patients are vulnerable and in need of immediate care, is completely unacceptable. The lack of coordination and the clear unwillingness of the staff to work together reflects poorly on the standards of your hospital.
I understand that emergency units can be stressful environments, but this in no way excuses the unprofessional behavior and lack of compassion displayed by your staff. As a patient, I expect to be treated with dignity, respect, and professionalism, all of which were sorely lacking during my visit.
I urge you to investigate this matter and take immediate action to ensure that such unprofessional conduct is addressed. It is crucial that your staff are reminded of the importance of empathy, professionalism, and maintaining the high standards expected of a healthcare facility. No patient should have to endure such a negative experience when seeking medical assistance.
