Heartbreaking Experience – Zero Communication & Still No Refund
My experience with Rawson Properties and agent Adel Nel has been incredibly upsetting. I paid an admin fee in good faith, trusting that my application would be handled professionally. Instead, I was met with silence, unanswered calls, abrupt hang-ups, and empty promises of “I’ll call you tomorrow” that never happened. Every update I received was because I had to ask repeatedly — never because they reached out to me. On 7 August, after enduring this for far too long, I asked for a refund. I followed up again on 11 August, but to this day I am still waiting for my money back. This is not just an inconvenience — it has real-life consequences for people and their families who urgently need housing. In my personal experience, this agency showed no urgency, no accountability, and no respect for the trust placed in them. I strongly caution others to think very carefully before using their services, as delays and lack of communication like this could leave your family without a home.

People CARE. service makes a difference!!!
Rawson properties Meyerton did an excellent job in finding us a home. We saw 32 houses in 4 weeks time. Mrs A van Wyk even drove around and made videos of areas to send to us. She really went beyond duties to help us in every way. In the 4 weeks she continually communicated with us via phone calls, wapp and emails. Excellent service. Thx Rawson Meyerton.

Rawson properties Meyerton did an excellent job in finding us a home. We saw 32 houses in 4 weeks time. Mrs A van Wyk even drove around and made videos of areas to send to us. No rent payment and repairs on previously leased property via Rawson Properties
I am so disappointed and frustrated at Rawson properties for not actioning the agreed repairs required at my house that I was renting out through them. For more than 3 years I have rented out my house with Rawson properties, there were a few glitches but maters would always get resolved eventually. On the 28th of December 2021 I moved back into my after an inspection and handover of keys was conducted and agreed with a Rawson agent. Rent for the December month was still outstanding by then and only 3 items needed to be repaired. 2 of 3 items were indicated by the agent as items pointed out by the tenant. To date only a portion of the December rent has been paid and no repairs have been done at my house. On almost a daily basis I contact the Rawson agent to enquire on when the balance of the rent will be paid and when repairs will be done, all i get is promises that by tomorrow things will be done. As things stand, I am living in a house with a broken window, no bathroom door and damaged sink cupboard that will fall apart any day now.
