Unhappy customer
Gert installed our invertor and a few months later we started experience problems with it. It is faulty and we contacted Gert as the equipment is under warranty. We have called Gert numerous times and if he does take the call, he promises to come out to look at the invertor. We have been calling him since November 2023 and now almost a year later later, he still has not honored his promises of coming out to check the invertor. We have also sent him numerous messages and had no response. We have invested a lot of money in the system and now have absolutely no after service at all. We will also have to approach the ombudsman as others have in this case if he does not honor his service

Inferior parts and poor after service
Initial service on the solar installation was great. Pity we sit a year down the line and we have had 2 circuit breakers blow. I have been sitting with no solar power for 3 weeks. Many promises that Gert & Wynand are coming through today… we are sitting of the 8th today and still has not pitched. Uses the an excuse of being in church as to why he cant answer his phone. I would reconsider his work

Initial service on the solar installation was great. Pity we sit a year down the line and we have had 2 circuit breakers blow. I have been sitting with no solar power for 3 weeks. Since this company installed our complete solar solutions we had an inverter breakdown. I had to go see the man at his house to get him to react to our breakdown. I then accompanied him to the repair centre (I did not believe that he would do anything if left by himself). This breakdown happened at a Backpackers business and the breakdown took 6 weeks to be solved, over Christmas. Despite the "guarantee" that we had, we did not get a replacement unit and lost business as a result. Now we had a battey failed and despite several calls we got no reaction from them. We are taking the battery to the repair centre ourselves. All equipment are from the top companies.

Since this company installed our complete solar solutions we had an inverter breakdown. I had to go see the man at his house to get him to react to our breakdown. I then accompanied him to the repair centre (I did not believe that he would do anything if left by himself). Solar installation
Installation was done and CoC was not given as quoted. The inverter was faulty from day 1 and took me 8 weeks to prove to Gert the owner that it was in fact faulty. It was then promised in November 2022 to replace the the inverter. It is till today 22 June 2023) not done. The installed capacity is 4 kw for the solar and I only get 1.2 kw . I even went to the ombudsman and they sent Gert a letter I then received a message with promises and six months later the inverter still have not been rectified or repaired. The wiring used to the panels are not correct wires and after some the came back to relocate panels after initial installation wires were joined. Probably why CoC was never given. Please avoid as there is zero after sales service
