This Company booked workers at our Backpackers hostel and paid for the few nights. Just before they were supposed to leave, the owner, Mr Lee Pieterse called and explained their work was not quite done and asked to extend (he could not say how long) and undertook to make payment. They left and never paid. We sent several mails to their office without any success. Two months later I gave the owner a personal call. He responded that he will follow up and made a payment for 30%, with the promise to have it cleared soon. In the last 3 months he did not respond to any communication with him. This Company, I learned since, has a very poor name both in their work delivery and paying debt. I want to warn all accommodation providers against accommodating them. They are sly and *******s.

Since this company installed our complete solar solutions we had an inverter breakdown. I had to go see the man at his house to get him to react to our breakdown. I then accompanied him to the repair centre (I did not believe that he would do anything if left by himself). This breakdown happened at a Backpackers business and the breakdown took 6 weeks to be solved, over Christmas. Despite the "guarantee" that we had, we did not get a replacement unit and lost business as a result. Now we had a battey failed and despite several calls we got no reaction from them. We are taking the battery to the repair centre ourselves. All equipment are from the top companies.
Over the last few years the service from MultiChoice has deteriorated so badly that it cannot be called a service anymore. Their Self-help is continuously not available. To have a Holiday account activated takes AT LEAST 1 hour (if you are extremely lucky). Invariably they cannot activate it on the day you request because it must be escalated!! They say that calls are recorded and monitored, but I invited someone from the Company to call me and explain why I say that they are the worst business in the WORLD. But to date they failed to even do that. I WISH that some business want to start up as competition to MultiChoice. They will do extremely well as a large amount of DSTV clients will join them.
On Monday 2015/08/24 just after 12, the co-owner of Drop zone parking service, Jacques Botha and an employee met me at departures at OR Tambo airport. I drove from Lesotho to catch a flight. On arrival I asked Jacques if I needed to remove valuables from my car before handing over. He responded it was not required and I left my phone, GPS, MP 4 player etc in the car. On my return on 2015/08/31 all appeared to be in place. On my way to Pretoria I needed to look up a number from my Lesotho phone. I looked in the box between the seats and could not find it. I immediately phoned Jacques and he did not sound too perturbed. During the next 4 weeks I made several phone calls and sent e-mails to him without any response. I requested that Polygraph tests be conducted and even offered to pay for it. I phoned and spoke to his partner and said that plan to lay a complain at the SAP of theft by the Company. He was going to phone me back and one week later I did lay a complain of theft against the Company. Be carefull to use this Company. They have thiefs working there.
