Shady owner - DO NOT leave your vehicles with these people - they get manhandled and ruined. They are used and not stored. My car was returned with 200km extra, a lingering smell and torn seats

I used this service . I went on a vacation for 2 weeks leaving my car with DropZone Service . On my return my car had not one, BUT 4 BIG DENTS. Two on both front doors! Even worse they did not even see it ( or pretended not to). If we did not alert them to it……. they would have walked away without saying anything. The lady who brought the car called Jacques ( the boss I guess). He asked for pics and we also took pics and sent it. NO response. Please be warned to NOT use Jacques and his DZS at OR Tambo ever!!!!!!!!

For the first time ever we had to use the valet parking services at OR Tambo airport for our car for a whole 8 days when we were out of the country. I chose Dropzone because their quotation was the cheapest I got. As a first time user I was obviously really scared of what could happen to my car. On 1 October we arrived at the airport and a lady dressed in easily identifiable Dropzone uniform was there waiting for us. She greeted us with a big smile, did the inspection of the car and gave us a receipt to show that we handed our car to her care. On our return on 8 October 2017 our car was there waiting for us and it was clean. The gentlemen we met with greeted us with big smiles and assisted with putting our luggage in the boot. We paid and we left very happy. I will recommend Dropzone to all my friends next time. Your service was great!!!

On Monday 2015/08/24 just after 12, the co-owner of Drop zone parking service, Jacques Botha and an employee met me at departures at OR Tambo airport. I drove from Lesotho to catch a flight. On arrival I asked Jacques if I needed to remove valuables from my car before handing over. He responded it was not required and I left my phone, GPS, MP 4 player etc in the car. On my return on 2015/08/31 all appeared to be in place. On my way to Pretoria I needed to look up a number from my Lesotho phone. I looked in the box between the seats and could not find it. I immediately phoned Jacques and he did not sound too perturbed. During the next 4 weeks I made several phone calls and sent e-mails to him without any response. I requested that Polygraph tests be conducted and even offered to pay for it. I phoned and spoke to his partner and said that plan to lay a complain at the SAP of theft by the Company. He was going to phone me back and one week later I did lay a complain of theft against the Company. Be carefull to use this Company. They have thiefs working there.

We were flying to Mauritius for a week and weighed up our options of getting to the airport:-
-shuttle is convenient but expensive
- Gautrain is expensive and we still need a lift to the station (we're far from bus route)
-drive and park in long term parking. (have to schlep your luggage on the shuttle bus, get pushed over by airport staff on the bus, battle to pay and get out of the parking)

Solution- Dropzone Parking Service. You drive to the departure terminal, they have someone waiting to collect your car which is parked off site. The car is waiting washed and cleaned at the same place on your return. Costs a bit more than the long term parking but the convenience is worth it.
I was nearly an hour ahead of the arranged pick up time but Jacques was there in minutes to collect the car which is checked for damages and the milage recorded.

I highly recommend his services
