Biggest mistake buying a bakkie from theses guys in Brits, had unlimited problems with bakkie, within 5 weeks, turbo blown, battery replaced, major electrical fault, starter replaced, had the bakkie towed twice in 4 weeks. The bakkie was in an oppolling state. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone.

I bought a bakkie advertised as mint condition with no faults,. Agyer I paid for the bakkie cash and oafyer a week got stuck in durban, had to hire a low bed to tow it to my home 200kms away. It had electrical issue which stood for 3 weeks after numerous attempt with the auto electrician, but finally it got repaired. I did call REFS auto and complained about the bakkie, they compensated me R7000, after I paid R220 000 cash, and it cost me R5000 for towing service and another R7500 for auto technician. The bakkie run for week until I had starter problem, overhaul the starter, it's fixed. On the 27th went to Eshowe and way back, the bakkie smoking, loss of power it seems that the turbo has failed. Had to get it towed with lowbed again, 2 breakdowns within a month and both timea, had to hire a low bed, another R3000. Also had the battery replaced R2000. SHOCKING thing is the owner never had the decency to call me an opologise and say sorry, I will never recommend anyone buying a vehicle from theses guys again, guys who speak with FORK tongues. Their practices is not according to Islamic value with honesty and intrigety.

I purchased a Jeep Cherokee 2002 model 3.Lt petrol 3 months ago from a second hand car dealer in Brits, named Ref's Auto 0723534444. About a week ago I had a major breakdown on the vehicle, it concerns the cylinder head, which has to be replaced. The cost total an amount of R15000.00 spares and labour. The owner of the dealership where the Jeep was bought refuses to share any responsibility concerning the repair of the vehicle. I have driven it for 3 months. I believe this is not fair towards me, since I am a lady driver, the Jeep was never misused. Please, can anybody help?
