On 24 February, I booked my vehicle in at Renault Roodepoort for its scheduled service, as well as to address a faulty brake light switch and a dashboard error reading “Check Anti Pollution System.” The vehicle was dropped off at 8am, and we specifically requested that we receive updates regarding the vehicle’s progress and completion time. We remained in the Roodepoort area the entire day waiting for a call. By 3pm, having received no communication whatsoever, we decided to call the branch ourselves. We were then informed that the workshop mechanic had not yet attended to the vehicle and that we should leave it overnight. We reluctantly agreed. The following day (Wednesday), we were told they were awaiting warranty approval for a faulty brake light switch and a leak on the water bottle — something we were completely unaware of, as the vehicle was not losing water at all. Regarding the “Check Anti Pollution System” error, we were told that sometimes sensors trigger due to a faulty battery. When we asked whether the battery had been tested, we were told it had not. Since Wednesday, 25 February, we have had to call daily for updates regarding warranty approval. Not once has any staff member proactively contacted us. No phone call. No message. Nothing. Every update has required us to follow up ourselves. It is now 2 March — a full week later — and we are still being told they are “awaiting warranty approval.” In addition, we have now been informed that the brake light switch is on back order, meaning the vehicle may take another week to be repaired. The Service Manager, Jacky, has been extremely unprofessional in her communication. On multiple occasions she has promised to return my calls but has failed to do so. Yesterday she assured me she would contact me before 3pm today. When I called her at 15:30, she abruptly responded, “I told you I’ll call you at 4,” which was not the case. This tone and attitude are unacceptable when dealing with customers who have already been inconvenienced for over a week. Jacky claims she is also “raising her eyebrows” at the situation as she is new to the branch and cannot believe it is taking this long — however, acknowledging poor service without resolving it does not help the customer. I also dealt with Whitney from Renault, who made multiple promises but similarly failed to return calls. Each time I needed feedback, I had to call in and request to speak to her. This level of service is shocking. We are now stuck in what feels like a never-ending cycle of poor communication, delays, and broken promises. A simple courtesy call or honest update would have gone a long way, but instead we have been left chasing feedback for over a week. Very disappointing experience. Good day, I just want to bring to your attention that the following dealer Motus Renault Roodepoort is ****ming the innovation group as well as people out of false repairs that need to be done. On 23 February 26 I took my car for a service to motus Renault Roodepoort they kept my car the entire day and did not do the service - I received a phone call that afternoon informing me that the engine needs to be overhauled - I refused as I knew nothing was wrong with my car, I took my car back and took it to another dealer Renault clear water yesterday 02 March 26 where they did the service and informed me that nothing was wrong with my car. My concern is that Renault Roodepoort is trying to **** people and the innovation group out of thousands of rands for repairs that is not needed. This is unacceptable and the lack of professionalism of that branch is shocking. Due to the false information that was provided to me by Renault Roodepoort I have encountered unnecessary expenses as well as unnecessary distress. I really hope that by me reporting the incident that it would be investigated as I fear that this has happened to a number of people before me as well.

Bought a vehicle mid January and no number plates provided. Temporary permit has also expired but number plates still have not arrived. My vehicle was now impounded this morning and had to pay the fee for that but it’s not my fault

On the 25/07/2025 I ordered the nuts lock for my car and I was told I will receive the parts within 4 weeks. Then on the fourth week I called to find out if it had arrived. I was told it is discontinued and David told me to send my bank confirmation letter and ID copy so I can get my money back. On the 12/08/2025 I send him docs. On the 16th I called which was Monday, because David didn't not give me feedback when I called him on his WhatsApp number Friday and Saturday to find out why I have not received the refund. Then I spoke to his manager and they send me endemnity. And was told I will receive my money after 2 days this week. And today is Saturday still I didn't receive any update or my refund back from Renault Roodepoort branch.

So my daughter recently got a Renault kwid from the dealership Renault Roodepoort. while innitially we were verhy happy with their service it soon become clear that this was just a front for hinding poor pathetic service actually. her vehicle was replaced by the insurance and she had to deal with a Kagiso (KG), everything went ok. the day (20/06/2025) we went to fetch her car (admittedly we were early) but they were so disorganised its not even funny. when we finally got into the car, first thing i checked was the radio buttons on the steering wheel. and surprise surprise this didnt work at all. the vehicle was quickly taken to their workshop where it was confirmed that the back part of the steering wheel buttons were broken. now im no car dealer but this is something that shouldve been checked and made sure it worked before trying to hand over the car with faults. (101 point check) being very excited about getting her car, we opted to take the car, as we drove more than an hour to collect it and KG then assurend us that he has cleared the ordering of the replacement part this with his manager that same day and that a collection of the car would be the following tuesday (24/06/2025) so that this could be fixed. according to KG the part wouldve arriaved on Monday 23/06/2025. needless to say, the next tuesday 24/06/2025 came and went with not even a phone call from KG or anyone so inform us what is going on. i then called the following friday 27/06/2025. i asked to talk to KG and the moment he heard who i was, i was met with attitude and all kinds of excuses. i asked to talk to a Denzel DP of the dealership and was told he is apparently out for the day. finally it was agreed that the vehicle would be collected at 7:00 on monday 30/06/2025 from my daughter, the car would be taken to heir workshop and be repaired and then brought back, Renault Roodepoort to reimburse my daughter for the fuel that is going to waste due to their mistake of not checking the car properly in the first place. after my phone call with KG, i was so discgussed with this dealership and the poor service and empty promises, i called them again and asked to talk to Denzel, where i was told he is in a meeting (not out for the day) but would call me back, NOTHING HAPPENED Monday 30/06/2025 arrived, surprise, nothing happened. after i had to call KG, again, once he realised whom i was, he went from friendly to one of the rudest sales people ive ever met and he had all kinds of excuses that he couldnt hear me but i could hear him 100%. i said he would call me back and still havent. given at least he called my daughter and said the car would be fetched the same day 30/06/2025 but didnt even give a time. i called and asked to talk to Denzel ahain, and again he was apparently busy but would call me back. i cant help to get the feeling thaat MR Denzel either dont know about this or just simply also doenst care about the poor and substandard service his people are providing to clients. either way, we still sitting with the car not fixed yet and no real idea of when, how and honestly if Renault Roodepoort would fixed the car as we were promised. so when buying a car from this dealership. be very very careful.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I’ve received from Renault Roodepoort. My vehicle finance was approved by the banks some time ago, yet the dealership continues to delay finalizing the transaction. I have made every effort to remain patient, but the lack of urgency, communication, and professionalism is completely unacceptable. On Monday, I was informed that the finance manager would contact me—this never happened. Then this morning (Wednesday), I received a message at 07:12 stating that I would receive a call during the day. It is now 15:35 and still no call, no feedback, and no further communication. This ongoing silence reflects a concerning disregard for my time and commitment. To make matters worse, I have not even seen the vehicle I am meant to be purchasing a Renault Kwid, advertised at Renault Roodepoort which we discussed on Saturday, 01 June 2025. Despite having submitted all required documents and meeting every request on my end, the process continues to stall. What’s most frustrating is that I am the one constantly following up and requesting feedback, rather than receiving timely updates from your side. The service I’ve received so far is far below acceptable standards

I purchased a CV boot from them only to discover that I actually needed the entire CV joint. They flat-out refused to accept the CV boot back, and now I'm seriously hesitant to buy the CV joint or any other parts from them in the future. Sure, mistakes happen, and we can occasionally buy the wrong items, but with Renault, it feels like they only care about themselves—customers don’t matter at all.
