Thank you to Xavier Shubach, sales exec, and the Finance dept, Tanya Engelbrecht for going the extra mile. Even when the application came with hoops and hurdles, you jumped over all of them. Thanks for being commited to every client that walks in, and for great communication. Renault Port Shepstone is the place to buy - no doubt!

Dear Clive and the Manager I want thank Annette, your Service Mechanics for the assistance they gave in correcting a fault with a TowBar I had fitted by Renault in Durban in August 2023, where they failed to put in a Fuse after installing the Tow-bar Connection. They were a great help in a time of need. Your Team we amazing and just really blessed by their friendliness and help. God bless you all.

In November 2021, my car went in to Thompson Motors Port Shepstone for repairs after an accident. Upon receiving notification a month later that my car was ready to be collected, my husband arrived at the dealership only to discover that my car was missing and the staff at the dealership did not have any answers as to what had happened to my vehicle. In fact my car was parked outside the dealership on the road and the keys that was supposedly in the office was also missing. The dealership has no security cameras or security personnel so nobody knew anything. This to me is a huge negligence on their part. We were not offered a courtesy vehicle or transport back home that day. The staff were rude and behaved like it was not their problem. Their insurance refused to pay me as it was said that the dealership was liable for payment or a replacement vehicle to me. To date, the dealership refuses to accept liability for their negligence and refuses to settle in any way. My insurance has settled my finance company for what was outstanding on my vehicle however I do believe that the dealership owes me a replacement vehicle or settlement for my losses. I was retrenched and unemployed during that time so it was impossible for me to obtain finance for another vehicle at the time. I also lost all the money that was paid towards the vehicle since I purchased it in 2019. In addition this has caused a huge inconvenience in my life as without a vehicle it was difficult for me to accept jobs that required a vehicle. I have not received any compensation from Renault Thompson Motors Port Shepstone, not even for the excess amount on my insurance. The whole incident is very strange as how could my vehicle get stolen from the road outside the dealership but at the same time the keys also go missing. The keys of all customer vehicles are supposed to be kept in a secure safe and anyone requesting the keys are surely to sign upon receiving them. There are so many unanswered questions. I'm not sure if this incident was cleverly orchestrated by an internal staff at the dealership or maybe they sold my car and are just claiming that my car was stolen, how do I know??? And how does any customer now trust this dealership with their vehicles??? I am utterly disgusted at the service levels from Renault Thompson Motors Port Shepstone. They treated my husband and I extremely poorly and refused to accept responsibility for their pathetic service and their negligence of my stolen car whilst in their care.
