STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE IS THE BEST ADVICE I CAN GIVE YOU!!! After spending more than 10k on products which was delivered with missing items and also defect products...owner is dishonest and communication is pathetic

Received my order 1581 on Monday 13 January, after a lot of miscommunication, date changes for shipping and excuses of product supply not being available yet and waiting for stock. If I did not message for feedback then I would not have known the status of my order. The enclosure was built and setup and finalized by Wednesday evening 15 January. All the products came in tact and working fine but between the 2x medium hides (which came flat packed like the enclosure) and the enclosure itself, I was given 6x *****s Leela's than needed. Luckily, everything was sturdy enough for it not to be a problem. Also had to buy some electrical supplies due to the LED light that did not have a plug. But everything was sorted and setup and working. My ball python (Wasabi) is very happy. The PVC enclosure holds humidity and temps very well (I went bio-active) also Wasabi shed for the first time with me inside the new enclosure and it came out in one full piece so everything is perfect. The products are great. The customer service and communication and business practices suck. They did not once apologize or try to do damage control. They even said that I should not go "bad mouthing" them on all the platforms. But I feel like if no reviews were sent then they would not have rep**** and give me any feedback whatsoever because between the 2 email addresses and the 2 cell numbers that I have used, the only feedback came from one cell number on WhatsApp. As I said, 5/5 for the products but 0/5 for the company itself. Happy with the products, luckily will not need anything else from them and I will rather pay more and go to another supplier for better customer service.

Order #1581 was placed on 19 December. It was an RC120 bundle with add-ons. Spent well over R4500. No communication received regarding shipment or any ETA. Website says 5-7 working days and that orders that are placed by the 19th December will still be delivered on-time even though they are closing and other orders will be shipped from the 6th of January. I have called the number, sent emails, whatsapps to no avail. Finally reached someone who said that the order will be shipped the 24th December - no tracking number and no further replies or communication received. The phone number does not work, emails go unanswered and whatsapps are ignored. I am starting to believe that this is a ****. I saw them once at the SOS reptile expo and I really liked the enclosures but now I am unsure. Either communicate or contact me or give me a refund so that I can take my business elsewhere. Never again. Do not recommend. Also looked on Hello Peter - bunch of bad reviews. Unfortunately I am in Gauteng so I cannot just pop in at their store in Capetown. It is sad that I placed another order with another reputable reptile company on the 27th and I have already received word today that they are getting my order ready for shipment.

I trusted ReptiCube and its owner, Jean Rossouw, with what was meant to be a straightforward purchase, and instead found myself caught in a month-long chain of delays, incorrect information, and unnecessary frustration. On 25 October, I placed an order for ReptiCube’s RC120 enclosure (Order #1418), priced at R4,890, with their website clearly stating a delivery time of 5–7 working days. Because I was planning to eventually purchase several enclosures and reorganise my home around them, I even travelled to Cape Town to visit their premises in person. I wanted to ensure the business was legitimate before investing further. A staff member showed me around, although Jean wasn’t present. On the same day, I messaged their business WhatsApp about stock availability of the white RC40 enclosure. That message went unanswered. When I later asked Jean about this, he explained that the office phone had been ******—yet no alternative contact details were provided, and no proactive communication was offered to customers who were trying to reach them. After a week of silence on my RC120 order, I followed up. Jean told me that both the RC120 and RC40 would be sent together “in a few days.” Only the small enclosure arrived. When I questioned this, Jean told me he had mixed up my order, mistakenly preparing the wrong model, and that he had now sent the correct enclosure. I accepted this explanation in good faith. However, 17 days passed, and nothing arrived. Each time I enquired, I was told: the unit was “on its way,” it had been sent “yesterday,” or I should “it’s arriving tomorrow” When I pointed out that what Jean said would happen had in fact not happened, his stunning reply was “where was I not honest with you?” I was left speechless and, there was still, no delivery. After another week had gone by since the “you’ll get it tomorrow” promise, I again followed up with Jean and was told that the courier had logged a failed delivery attempt. When I contacted the courier directly, they informed me that the address and phone number that Jean had given were both incorrect, resulting in a failed delivery to the wrong location and phone calls to a person who had no connection to me. After rearranging my schedule multiple times to be home, selling my old enclosures to make space, and purchasing furniture specifically to display the new units, this ongoing uncer*****y became incredibly disruptive. On 22 November, I finally unpacked the large enclosure, only to find that some panels didn’t even have the required holes drilled, making assembly impossible. When I reached out to Jean, he declined my call due to the time and instructed me to send banking details for a refund. After a full month of waiting, repeated assurances, mixed information, and now receiving an incomplete product, being offered a refund felt like an attempt to undo the situation rather than take accountability. I didn’t ask for a refund. I asked for the enclosure I paid for, delivered properly, as promised. What I Expect: I am requesting that ReptiCube honours the original sale and delivers a brand-new RCB120 black enclosure, correctly manufactured and in proper working order. He can collect the faulty Unit and deliver a unit free from defects within the time frame advertised on his website. This experience has been unnecessarily time-consuming, costly, and disappointing. I hope that by sharing this publicly, ReptiCube and Jean Rossouw will take this matter seriously and ensure better communication and reliability for future customers.

I placed an order and obviously paid upfront. I immediately received an email saying the order had been received, but to date I have no heard anything further, no update as to when the order will arrive or even if it has been dispatched. They do not answer the phone or any messages either. I can only assume it is one big **** and my money has been ******! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMANY!!!

If I could give this business zero stars, I would. After referring a friend to them to buy an enclosure from them for their son's first ball python we were left sorely disappointed and a embarrassed by the service our friend received. Firstly they sold her an enclosure that was completely inappropriate (far too big and with incorrect equipment for more money) for the animal they were getting, this told us that they didn't know enough about ball pythons. We tried to rectify this by adjusting the order to the same value that was already spent on the incorrect enclosure. My friend then received two separate notifications that her shipment was on its way, when in actual fact, the shipment had not been shipped because parts were forgotten. When the shipment arrived, weeks later, half the equipment was not included, and the other half was not what was ordered. When we eventually got through to someone to speak to, my partner was insulted and then hung up on. We now wait patiently hoping that my friend will receive the rest of her order so that her son can take ownership of his animal, three weeks after his birthday. This is our first encounter with this company and will be our last.

Paid R700 and then told me the item was out of stock. Numerous attempts to contact them ignored, their phone number belongs to some random man with no affiliation. Eventually got into contact on Instagram after trying for about a week and the owner was very hostile and gaslit me. Claimed to cancel my order and send me a refund but no refund was sent at all. Sure they will ignore my messages again. This website may or may not be a ****. Don't risk it. The fact that they take advantage of people who just want to take care of their reptiles is deplorable. I hate posting bad reviews but I don't want other people to lose money who just wanted to buy their reptile something nice.
