I would like to express my profound disappointment and distress regarding the complete loss of a parcel entrusted to Rhenus Express, which contained an engagement ring valued at over R25,000. the only response I have received to date is a generic “sorry for the inconvenience.”
This dismissive reply in no way reflects the gravity of the situation. The irreversible loss of an item of such immense sentimental and monetary value has caused significant emotional pain and distress to both myself and my partner.
As a professional courier company, the secure and timely delivery of parcels is the core - and indeed the only - Service you are paid to provide. The fact that an item of this nature could simply “go missing” while in your custody raises serious questions about your processes, procedures, and accountability measures. At this stage, it is unclear whether the parcel was lost through negligence or ******, but either scenario reflects catastrophically on your organization.
I hope I never have the displeasure of ever using your company again!
