I wrote a good review on this company, but unfortunately, I wrote too soon. A technician was supposed to call on Friday 10th October to take measurements etc, and did not arrive. Then he was coming on Saturday 11th, and did not arrive again, despite messaging and calling - no reply. Then I was called on by a manager, and it was arranged that the Garage Door would be attended to on Friday 17th October. Then the company called and stated that they had double-booked and could I make it for next week, and I had already paid in full (they request a 90% deposit, but I paid in full in advance.) so they agreed to come today, as this was all in writing, and constitutes a contract, hence breach of contract. So they arrived today, installed the door, and then informed me that they did not have the software to use on a Centurian motor, only the motors that they sell, although they had been informed that it was a new Centurian motor. Then another phone call, informing me that they could do the software on Monday, as the technician stated that only he had the software but was in Stilbaai. The technicians doing the job today, stated that they could download the software if they had data. Anyway, they tried opening and closing the door and it worked? So after they left, I get a message stating that the first service on the door in 3 months time would "be on them" - no charge due to all the inconvenience. I referred them back to all the messages, where it clearly states that the first service is complimentary? I still had to pay R250-00 for "aligning the motor". What a comedy of errors. Prof Rory Dunn.
