I wrote a good review on this company, but unfortunately, I wrote too soon. A technician was supposed to call on Friday 10th October to take measurements etc, and did not arrive. Then he was coming on Saturday 11th, and did not arrive again, despite messaging and calling - no reply. Then I was called on by a manager, and it was arranged that the Garage Door would be attended to on Friday 17th October. Then the company called and stated that they had double-booked and could I make it for next week, and I had already paid in full (they request a 90% deposit, but I paid in full in advance.) so they agreed to come today, as this was all in writing, and constitutes a contract, hence breach of contract. So they arrived today, installed the door, and then informed me that they did not have the software to use on a Centurian motor, only the motors that they sell, although they had been informed that it was a new Centurian motor. Then another phone call, informing me that they could do the software on Monday, as the technician stated that only he had the software but was in Stilbaai. The technicians doing the job today, stated that they could download the software if they had data. Anyway, they tried opening and closing the door and it worked? So after they left, I get a message stating that the first service on the door in 3 months time would "be on them" - no charge due to all the inconvenience. I referred them back to all the messages, where it clearly states that the first service is complimentary? I still had to pay R250-00 for "aligning the motor". What a comedy of errors. I’m extremely disappointed with the poor service from Roos Garage Doors, especially the lack of support from one of the staff members. We purchased three garage doors earlier this year, and within just three months, one remote stopped working. Although a staff member replaced the battery, it failed again soon after. As of 11 October 2025, a second remote has also stopped working, leaving us with none that function. Despite repeated reports, we were told to “just buy new batteries,” which clearly isn’t the issue. This lack of proper support and failure to address the root cause is unacceptable for a premium product. They lack accountability as they its someone or its due to something, its never them - so extremely disappointed.

They installed the wrong colour of my and the mistake is on their side but they don't want to take responsibility instead they are offering me R3000 2 years service, They are not responsibility because the door was installed in rural areas I guess Now I will be stuck with the wrong colour after paying R33000

This branch installed four wooden garage doors of us. They promptly came and gave us a quotation free of charge, no oblication, arrived on time to do the work, followed up, promptl;y and corrected a small matter. Management and staff were super friendly and accomodating and the product they supply is top class. Thanks a lot for excellent service! This was such a pleasant experience, so much different that their opposiition who charges R600 to come out for a quote which I accepted. They never came and did not contact us.
