This the second time we use this company, this time from Limpopo Province to the Western Cape. Their quotation was reasonable, their attention throughout the process good. They even tried to give us a shared load to reduce our cost, however unsuccessfully. We did not expect them to do this so we appreciate their gesture. They were on time to pick up and off load. There was no damage. Their team was friendly, professional, cooperative and a pleasure to work with. I can strongly recommend them.
I sent an EPSON inktank printer to them for repairs under warranty. This was done promptly- within two working days- well done! BUT during testing, after repairing, they used up a massive amount of my ink in the printer, which I don't blame them for. This ink is deposited in a waste bin which gets filed up and a counter in the printer then stops all printing. You have to then replace the bin and reset the printer before it starts printing again. This cannot be done by the user so you have to send the printer to the service agent at your own cost. They did replace the bin at no cost to me but failed to do the resetting which I discovered after receiving the printer. I live far from Partserve which is in Gauteng. I contacted them and requested assistance. They told me to return the printer to them, I assume at my cost after I asked them to supply me with the necessary app to do the job myself which they refuse. After a long search I eventually found such an app on internet and managed to restore my printer. I blame Partserve for not doing a complete job and then requiring me to have their shoddy work finished at my cost.
I ordered a lithium battery charger from them on 25 March and today, 27th March, it is delivered. I think this is brilliant. Besides that, their price was better than other online merchants for the same product and their delivery cost through The Courier Guy is the lowest.
I bought an EPSON ink tank printer on 30 June 2024 through TAKEALOT. It has stopped functioning just more than a week ago and as it is still within the twelve month warranty period of EPSON, I approached them for assistance. They asked for proof of purchase and the serial number which I immediately supp****. Since then I had many communications from their customer service department asking many questions and keeping on asking for documents I already supp**** but I rep**** to all of this. They kept on shifting the goalposts. At one stage they alleged there were two resellers and I asked them to explain this. I never got a reply. Then yesterday they told me the printer is out of warranty although I only had it for seven months. I asked them to prove this but did not get a reply. Now this morning, they again requested an invoice which I had already given them. My conclusion is that EPSON has no intention of honouring their warranty and is trying to frustrate me to the point of me abandoning the matter. This printer works OK (when it works) but beware, you are NOT going to have success if you have a warranty claim. And if EPSON do perhaps reply to this complaint, please do not insult me by coping y and pasting a standard reply as they do with other complaints. I need a solution to this impasse
I ordered a part from these guys and paid by EFT. I had to cancel the order the next due to the fact that I could not install the part myself. A lady, Tracy, agreed to cancel the order and refund me. The order was cancelled forthwith even before it was dispatched and confirmed by email but I am still waiting for the refund. I was lucky to get through by telephone twice- their 'phone is mostly not answered- and sent five reminders by email. Not one of them was acknowledged. I get the impression they are quite unwilling to refund me although the two ladies I spoke to, Tracy and Nadine (the boss' PA) assured me the matter will be attended to. Needless to say I will never again buy from these people. This is the only online shop I have has such an experience with although I make extensive use of these shops. I have reported this a while ago and have since approached the Retail ombudsman. He has just informed me that there was no reply to their enquiry and they are therefore obliged to terminate the enquiry. This is quite unsatisfactory that the ombudsman has no teeth, but I suppose this is what the Act calling it into existence stipulates. Again, be aware that this is not a reliable online shop and in your own interest, do not buy from them. I expect they will cease to exist soon because of their bad reputation. I will now endeavor to get the Consumer Council to intervene. I would like someone to force them to close.

I am happy to report the excellent service I received from Blackcircles Tyres. I found them on internet about two weeks ago looking for the best prices on tyres (which proved to be from Blackcircles) as I had to buy tyres for two vehicles. They are apparently not tyre dealers as such but you order the tyres from them and they arrange delivery to the nearest dealer of your choice in time for the date and time you choose. You pay them in full including fitting and balancing so you do not pay the dealer directly. My first fitting went smoothly but with the second one I found I had made a mistake on the size of the required tyres. I called Blackcircles' call center and discussed the problem with a very helpful lady called Faith. As I was pressed for time, she agreed that, as the dealer happened to have the correct size in stock, I could have the tyres fitted immediately at my own cost and Blackcircles would refund me within three days. I must add that I paid more for the tyres at the dealer that Blackcircle would have charged me, but it was my mistake so I accepted it. I received the refund after two days by the way. Arranging everything online with a company that deliver what they promise, is just one big pleasure. THANK YOU BLACKCIRCLES!
I do not have experience buying a vehicle from this company, but I have had a very good experience selling them mine. I approached their Polokwane branch and they acted exactly at they promise on their web page. They assessed by car within 15 minutes, very thoroughly and I accompanied their assessor in the test drive. Soon after they made me an offer which I accepted. A buyer accompanied me home and quickly did the administration online and paid the amount into my bank account. It just about immediately showed on my bank app. I would have liked to have got more (don't we all?)but after looking at the prices of similar cars for sale on their web page as well as others on internet, I really cannot complain. Afterwards they had my car for sale at only 10% of what they paid me which I think was very fair- I expected at least a 33.3% profit A few days later I got confirmation from them that the car had been registered in their name. And besides the smooth process, the two persons I worked with were very friendly and professional. After selling all my previous cars out of hand, I plan to deal with them henceforth,
I bought a Peugeot from this dealer in Polokwane a few weeks ago. It was a most pleasant experience. The vehicle had to be brought from Port Elizabeth and arrived on time, within a week. I was kept informed daily of the progress by the most friendly staff, Cloee and Kevin. In a time where you expect bad and at the best lukewarm service, it is a refreshing breeze to experience excellence.
We had a big concrete paving project done at our home in 2020 and all is still in good order. We accepted their quotation as the cheapest and what they offered and this included removing masses of 10mm existing solid concrete. They completed the job within the promised time frame. Management and staff were very friendly and helpful and accommodated us when we requested small changes. The cherry on the top, was when they, without we asking, recalculated the quote and the end and gave us a refund of about 10% on their quotation as the job apparently was that much smaller as what they originally calculated. Can you believe that!
