Not refunding

A product rep did a great job of providing me with samples on site, which I really appreciated. I purchased an number of product tins but ran out and needed to order more. The Cape Town office advised that I order enough to not run out again since the particular colour I was using was low in supply and assured me that I can get a refund on tins I do not use. He quotation merely qualified that tins must be unopened and a 10% handling fee will be deducted of any credit.

After completing my project I returned the remaining product tins in order to get the refund on the remaining tins. The head office then said that, as per the terms on their invoice which I only received with the shipment, any tins not returned within 14 days will not be refunded. This information wasn't shared with upon purchase or by the sales representative.

The Cape Town office issued an official credit note some three months ago but this had not been paid to date.
