I bought an item from Buyfast. It arrived in good time but was the wrong product (red and not wooden). I called and pointed out that it is the wrong product (the blue one has another product code), but the customer care staff member stated that they cannot exchange if product was bought with a voucher and that exchange will mess up stock controls. I was referred to customer care manager (Jay) who stated the same thing. I maintained that this is not an \exchange\", but that they sent me the wrong product. We then looked at the catalogue online and Jay agreed that the product I ordered was not sent to me. He said he will get back to me. I have heard nothing since."
A product rep did a great job of providing me with samples on site, which I really appreciated. I purchased an number of product tins but ran out and needed to order more. The Cape Town office advised that I order enough to not run out again since the particular colour I was using was low in supply and assured me that I can get a refund on tins I do not use. He quotation merely qualified that tins must be unopened and a 10% handling fee will be deducted of any credit. After completing my project I returned the remaining product tins in order to get the refund on the remaining tins. The head office then said that, as per the terms on their invoice which I only received with the shipment, any tins not returned within 14 days will not be refunded. This information wasn't shared with upon purchase or by the sales representative. The Cape Town office issued an official credit note some three months ago but this had not been paid to date.
Ordered a Kalahari Shade Sail online (the items mentioned "3 items left"), but then I get an email saying item is "on hold" due to items being sold out.
