Rustenburg Local Municipality is very ********* !!!
It turns out that my November Statement had inaccurate water meter readings, that resulted in my municipal bill going up.
When I went to enquire about it at the Municipality, I was told that the person who was taking meter readings wrote estimated readings because my gate was locked. But I reside in an Estate and the meter is outside the yard, outside the boundary wall to be precise.
The lady who was helping me said she will escalate the matter to her superior and I should wait for an email for about 4 days, if I do not get an email I must come back.
I went back after a week and found a different person at the help desk. She said I must wait maybe they will update my statement. Even today there is no Help.
Are we supposed to be ****** daylight like that in South Africa? No one is willing to help at all in that place…they do as they please with our readings and get us into debts just like that
