A company name which should be synonymous with SCAM
Where do I begin... As with any sales driven company I was receiving numerous emails and phone calls after my first enquiry on a product. They persist to be on your side and allegedly throwing attractive deals your way, nevertheless, when payment is made all goes quiet and you never hear from them again. Purchase was made with the promise of receiving delivery within 6 weeks, not once was a follow up conducted by the company. Eventually, after I reached out in week 6 I was told it would arrive the following week. This is where the lies and deception started, not only did I not receive one spec of communication but throughout the entire process this company had NOT CONTACTED ME A SINGLE TIME without me having to call, email or sms first. To say this company is run by incompetent people would be an insult to preschooler's. The lies and excuses continued for weeks on end after being unbelievably patient and understanding and then being let down again and again I had had enough. 4 MONTHS LATER AND I STILL DONT HAVE MY ORDER Still no refund. If you are thinking about purchasing anything from this company you are better off throwing your money in a burning fire. Absolutely pathetic

Excellent Service!
My wife and I are really difficult when it comes to house projects, but we had a hassle free experience with Rustic Furn Cpt. Gert and his team are professional and thorough We decided on a complete new hot dipped galvanized sliding gate including a new remote control gate motor on our property. Rustic Furn Cpt did not disappoint. A very pleasant experience from the initial quote to the final product. There were a small, but very effective team who worked with integrity, punctuallity, professionalism, outstanding service, excellent communication and an outstanding work ethic. A job that was finished within a week in the middle of winter with the heaviest rainfall the Cape has seen in many years. Gert, you have exceeded all our expectations with your excellent service. Congratulations! We would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to enhance their property. Thank you

Thief/Scammer/Liar
I paid a 70% deposit to Gert Classen who has since been postponing and dodging me for more than a month even though the lead time of the job was 12 days. He had come to measure up for my gate job and I got absolutely nothing back, no service and only fake promises. He becomes further elusive once you have paid. Do not trust him, do not pay anything. Go somewhere else. Previous reviews show that he is a thief and only out to steal deposits.

Thief in sheeps clothing. After saving up enough money to afford some upgrades at home, and after doing research on the most honest and reliable drive way gate and automation amnufacturers in cape town, the wife and I selected Rustic Furn- Owner Gert Claasen. He came out to measure up, provided a quotation requesting 70%/R24000, upfront, and promised 14days to installation, Now we are sitting with a Motor, and gate frame, no wood nor installation... we have emails, videos, msgs, all proof of how this man steals from innocent hardworking people, even making loans at the bank and using client money to settle his accounts. Never ever trust Gert Claasen Cape town, even South Africa

<p>I was in shared workshop space in Kensington with Gert and about 8 other carpentry/metal working businesses. Lots of the things you mentioned went on during his time there. Expensive powertools (battery drills, air tools, grinders, etc.), money and other things belonging to people went missing during his presence. Often it was undeniably him and totally impossible for it to have been anybody else that took the stuff, i.e. the times he stole money from someones room when it was only him in the workshop and all doors were shut. He was staying at the workshop with some other people (who were victims of his theiving and definitely NOT responsible for thefts) and we were given notice to leave. I was gone by the time we had to vacate, but he was making no attempt to leave and looked as if he was settling in to stay and make things difficult. He also did not pay his rent for several months beforehand, which undoubtedly contributed towards other members of the shared workshop having to leave. He also used other peoples machinery and tools without permission, snooped through their stuff and repeatedly stole materials. I would recommend that anybody interested in using Gert for work think carefully about letting a ********** using, crack smoking, thief into your house.</p>
