I purchased a Trimtech lawn trimmer + Lawn mower combo on Saturday morning at Makro Ottery. The Product costed me R 1000 rand. I went home and assembled as per instructions on manual. I had used the lawn mower head and proceeded to mow the lawn. The attachment which had been fixed on (can only be attached in 1 way) was shooting off the device (More than once) causing a danger to me and my spouse who was helping me. I immediately switched off the device and took it back to Makro. I had the device for about 3 hours at this point, the store consultants were insistent that they send the device away and that I cannot change the product or get a refund because it was used -> the only way I know it was defective is because i used it for about 2 minutes. I think that this is very unfair, you guys have a 14 day return policy. The only way i could have known that there was something wrong is if I switched it on. I would like my refund please or be able to change it for store credit.
Good Afternoon, My Order reference number is MAK995009 I have placed an order for 3 laptops on the 18th October 2018, this was an online exclusive. Makro has since cancelled the order as it was seen as a mistake. After an entire month, I have still not received any refund. The person I have dealt with is Judy Smale as well as many customer care agents (5 TIMES) Since you do not want to give my money back (Which you have been earning interest on for a month), I want the laptops which I have paid for. The price of the laptops were not an obvious error as it seemed like an exclusive special and it is not unusual for a laptop to go for R3000+ without special promo. I have called your customer care more than 5 times at which time I have been promised that my refund will be processed in 5-7 days. It was getting reset every time I called. Your staff is highly incompetent. I have incurred costs for airtime, loss of work time (which i bill per hour), stress, inability to settle bills and you people will be held to account Makro has also been earning interest on my payment which they refuse to reimburse. Please provide me with my product which I have ordered as you are unfairly withholding it from me. Thank you.
I placed an order for laptops on the 18th October 2018. Makro cancelled the order because they got the prices wrong on the website which is not my problem. Since the 18th of October they have still not refunded my money, I contacted customer care today and they have said it will take an additional 5 days??? Its been 20 Fu*&ing days for gods sake!! get your business in order. You do not withhold a customers money for an order that you cancelled because of your own mistake. Disgusting behavior for such a big company. Rather go to Game. I am done with Makro after this

I paid a 70% deposit to Gert Classen who has since been postponing and dodging me for more than a month even though the lead time of the job was 12 days. He had come to measure up for my gate job and I got absolutely nothing back, no service and only fake promises. He becomes further elusive once you have paid. Do not trust him, do not pay anything. Go somewhere else. Previous reviews show that he is a thief and only out to steal deposits.
Ive been on MTN since I got a cellphone (15 years), for the past 3 weeks my airtime and data has been disappearing consistently without mobile data being activated. Ive recharged 3 times and gotten R0.00 from a recharge. Ive had money deducted from my account without airtime received. Ive gotten lectures from call centers about how using my data and airtime is my fault (Even though i am a mobile /IT specialist and know exactly how to setup my phone), they will always blame you even though its proven that MTN had a disappearing data saga. Ive contacted the head office with complaints (No response) This is the worst network in Africa and most expensive and also thieves.
