I recently interacted with SAPHRA as I am acquiring the relevant licenses to start trading. There were a few hiccups in the beginning with no clear direction, however, I was lucky to be assisted by Nthabi Moloi whom got the right people to contact me, thereafter I was provided directions by an alternate person to read through the numerous guidelines to extract the information I required.
I did reach out to Nthabi again and she happily got someone else to reach out to me, that someone was Omphile Mokwena. I believe that Omphile also went above his cope and allowed me to call him to discuss my query. what an exceptional person, professional and clued up on SAPHRA processes.
He listened to me and clarified the misinformation that I was provided to by other companies. He gave me clear direction as to how I am to achieve my objectives. My questions may have seemed silly but again this was due to the misinformation provided by Non-SAPHRA individuals.
If anything, my interactions with both Nthabi and Omphile showed me that there are people who are willing to help and give their time to listen.
This should be a valuable lesson for the rest of the SAPHRA employees on how interactions with individuals should be conducted, what helping a person really means. If mere redirection or just blankly giving people guidelines were all that was needed of the staff then this could have been effectively done with AI, and also saves SAPHRA on staff salaries. Omphile and Nthabi both showed that they are more than just automated assistance.
