No Meat 'BEEF' Sandwich
Good day, I have been eating at Sandwich Baron for many, many years. Its been a while since I have ordered from a Sandwich baron ,as the last time I was so disappointed in the sandwich, but I left it. On Valentines day me and my fiancé wanted something Really good and different to eat, and because it was a special occasion we thought what the heck let’s get some sandwiches. I paid R130 on the App for my beef, gherkin, lettuce and tomato sandwich. It was delivered and once again, I was so disappointed. If you look at the photo below – that THIN line on the bun is the beef. Quarter of the bun didn’t even have any beef on it. If I wanted a salad sandwich I would have asked for one. Check what you can get for R130 on Mr D these days, you can get a whole meal or King Steer for instance. Waste of money and time (again) will I ever learn? … so sad that This is was we get for our hard earned money.

Waiting over 3 hours for delivery of my sandwich
I decided to use the Sandwich Baron's online service (as opposed to Uber Eats) for the first time. I ordered a sandwich for breakfast (around 07h50) and it's now closer to lunch time (11h13), but still no sign of my delivery. This is absolutely pathetic service, which is why I won't be ordering from them again. Just wanted to warn everyone to think twice before ordering from them.

Sandwhich Baron - more like Sad Witch Peasant....
SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Once again, the system has failed us and what was once renewed faith and hope, has been tarnished through poor customer service. Yesterday (30th June 2025), I called up Sandwich Baron in Rivonia shortly before 11:30 for a quick lunch order. I politely explained to the lady that I have an important meeting to attend and was hoping to catch a quick bite before the manic day ahead. I as assured that the order would arrive well within the hour. And what happens.... tick tock tick tock.... Sitting and waiting like a hungry loser who believed in people. After 3 attempts trying to contact them, they answered. Lazy excuses poured out like "I just spoke to him and he's there now now" & "Yoh, I don't know how this is possible, he left a long time ago" . Trying to remain calm, I gave her the benefit of the doubt and she once again reassured me that I would be called back on my mobile momentarily. And duh, no call came. an hour and 50 minutes later... Still nothing. I called again, this time it was a long story about "I called your office number and couldn't reach you" ( I never provided this details) The sandwich eventually arrived. Food cold, bread rubbery and a shook up bottle of "warm drink). ' Sadly, this is not the first disappointing service I've received from them. And all you get at the end is 'I'm sorry, enjoy your meal". full payment required and gone! Needless to say, this is one customer who will not return and will share this experience with all family and friends in the area.

Banting Strips at Houghton Sandwich Baron
When asking for a Banting meal like Banting chicken strips, and a COKE ZERO, I even wrote a note "if no Coke Zero any other drink with no sugar" one would assume the server, Sambulo D at the Houghton branch would understand that the customer has asked for a Banting meal for a reason, because hes on diet or because hes diabetic, however three times now I have made an Order through Uber Eats and what arrives is Banting Chicken strips and a Coke Original. I dont know why this store can not get this simple task right, its very frustrating.

I ordered chicken liver box and avo sandwich...food was delicious and the lady who answers for the order was friendly. I was extremely happy with the fast delivery service

Worst Taco EVER
Feel like some delicious food. Well then avoid Sandwich Baron Linbro Park Ordered a STEAK and mushroom Taco with extra fried onion. R97.00 *Stale Chips *Canned half sour tasting mushroom NO STEAK Just wasted my money and could not eat the Taco because it is so gross.

SHOCKING POOR SERVICE, RUDE STAFF
SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE. I cannot believe the service I received from Sandwich Baron Edenvale. I have ordered a mere sandwich at 11:55 and I waited for 2 hours for it to be delivered. Even when I called to finally cancel the order at 14:20 the delivery still hasn't arrived and Khanyi was so rude and unapologetic on the phone with a lousy excuse that the scooter had a puncture for 2 hours!!!!!????? BAD SERVICE, RUDE STAFF!!!
