I am so I need I went to lenterguer and got turned away, marriage on the rocks, elderly mother and being a bread winner with 2 kids and a brother too, my wife is unable to work, as she is home assisting my mother etc.. I needed a once off help but got turned away, a promised call back, I then applied online and am still awaiting a response for weeks now. I understand there is rules and requirements, however it's my first time seeking help and Sanzaf just assumes it's there duty to decline me without proper investigation, I am honest with my payslip etc yet it's like I'm young and can do things but I'm in a corner.I will make sure this is known, my wife now had it as she can not work and we want to move forward but can't due to assisting my ill mother... It's fund's to help our needy Ummah, I wish my case could have been dealt with better even with little help, but no help at all, is a smack in the face.

So a family member of mine approached Sanzaf as she was in desperate need and is in the process of having her house repossed. They immediately refused to assist her when they found out the father of her kids is a christian, she was rather told to leave him or to give him an ultimatum. They litterally insulted her by making disgusting remarks of her choices just because he is a christian man, Keep in mind the important thing is trying to save her house which is home to herself, 2 kids, her 81 years old mother and nephew. They would rather have an entire family sleep on the street because they could not assist a "Christian person" You literally humiliated her and showed her the door because you felt the need to judge others without even knowing the truth. The prophet SAW said - do not back bite muslims, and do not search for his faults , for if anyone searches for their faults, Allah will will search for his fault and if Allah swt searches for the fault of anyone , He humiliates him, (even if he hides) in his house. You are in no position to judge others period. Allah swt is the judge of all judges. This is why a lot of people look at muslims as horrible people, you are part of the problem. Nowehere in the quraan does it state a muslim can only assist another muslim and not other religions. May Allah swt guide us all Insha Allah ameen.

My name is Aylaan [Ishelone Oranje]

I embraced Islam in Pretoria CBD during the last 10 days of Ramadhan 2016. I was introduced to SANZAF by Abdul Haq of Roshnee in order to apply for the Entrepreneurs Program, Alhamdo lillah, which started early in October.

In simple terms, I was informed by Hasaan Evans, Zulfah Adams, Usama and staff that a 6 month waiting period forms part the policies of SANZAF because previously the funds was misused by other Muslim applicants.

In my 3 months of experiencing Islam, in the Sunnah of the Prophet (SAW) there is not a distinction between Muslims with regard to their equality of rights, whether 1 second or 100 years old, as in the case of the Uncle of the Prophet (SAW), Hamza ibn Abd al-Muttalib, who was slain by Wahshi during the Battle of Uhud. When Wahshi was just about to be ****ed by a Muslim he declared the Shahada and was immediately saved from death. Also, as I have learned in the Quran that accountability is individual and no one may carry the burden of another. The Prophet (SAW) always emptied himself for those who embraced Islam irrespective of their intentions.

Based on these facts, the implementation of policies used by SANZAF staff have not been properly assessed to honour the Sunnah as well as the teachings of the Quran.

Below is a short summary of what happened.

I went to the SANZAF Fordsburg Office to apply and was interviewed by Mulana Hassan Evans, Head of Training. I passed the interview and had to go for the next stage which was a drug test which I also passed. Neurolink assessed my mental capabilities.

Usama from Welfare department informed me what documents I had to complete for the final step of acceptance. I submitted these documents a week later and were only then informed that I was not yet 6 months Muslim and that my application must be put on hold till 6 months have passed. I accepted it Inshaallah, but an hour later that day I was phoned by Sadia Adams, Admin Clerk, that I had to come for assessments the following day. All I could say was Allahu akbar. I started training since then but today I was asked to leave.

Hasaan did not disclose the 6 months probation period at the initial interview and today could not provide any written evidence as proof of policy as in other documents with terms and conditions which I signed.

Staff at the Welfare Department today were not able to provide any written proof of policy.

Hasaan himself acknowledged today that the policy is not based on the Sunnah or Quran, but on Organisational Systems.

I do not mind to wait 3 months or 3 years Inshaallah, but to accept policies based upon teachings in excess of Sunnah and the Quran is unacceptable.

Are Organisational Systems leading Muslims today in Finances?

I am a 3 month old baby Muslim expressing my belief, an 'orphan' in the sense that I am the only one in my house and that of my father who has embraced Islam. Do I need 6 months to understand? Did the Prophet (SAW) not say in The Last Sermon that he hopes that those who are last will understand his words better then those who listened to him directly? Alhamdo Lillah
