I Am at one store in Pretoria called Saverite supermarket, I took a product that was marked R158.90 and when they scanned it it was R178.00. When I enquired the guys were super rude and they said they'll call a manager and I've to wait for the whole hour for the manager to arrive and and a white lady came and did help and the African guy also came and said my things should be canceled as I am causing a scene. I know my customer rights and the store is not practicing that at all as they don't even know how to talk to customers. The store is at Bosman Street. The Indial guy who seems like a manager came in and he was not helpful at all.
If I was a white customer, was the same treatment going to happen or is it happening to me because I am an African. Very disappointed with the treatment that I received from the store as I ended up not buying anything as my whole order was canceled and was told that they don't care if I buy or not and they don't give a ****.
