Just adding the mail I sent to them - 0 response as expected from Scott - how sad
Good morning,
2 years ago I decided to upgrade my MTB from a Specialized bike I had ridden for over 6 years with no drama, to an expensive Scott Spark 900 AXS. I did a lot of research and comparisons in my decision as this was an expensive bike and I needed it to last me the next 6 years.
I have now had this bike for 2 years and what an expensive drama show I have had. This is what I an experiencing:
Bearings, Pivot and rear - replaced 6 times - expensive services AXS - Replaced 3 times - Battery connection issues and a general failure Syncros Rims - replaced twice and I am on my way for the third, they crack
How can you warrant making an expensive bike and allowing for this? It is like the frame is all that was focused on and we will just chuck on **** components and rims and have no concern for testing the durability of the Pivot and other bearings.
I am more than aware that this is a higher level bike, however when I check in with my group, same rides, same riding - they do not experience these issues on their Specialized, Giant and Cannondale Bikes.
I am off shopping for a new bike - Will make this public when I do. I feel really bad having to sell this bike to the next person.......
