Extreme delay in delivering items purchased. Refusal to send to Post Net at my request as I am single and have no one at home to receive the parcel Despite my informing them of my cell phone number, originally typing it as +27 with the following 9 numbers and finding that on their form the last two digits were omitted due to lack of space, I then submitted the number starting with a zero. They said that they could not contact me due to a so called incorrect number, but they did not check their emails from me to see the advice of the number starting without the +27 and stating it to begin with a zero. They now demand extra payment for delivery despite the fact that delivery / courier fee charges were paid when making the purchase. I have found them to be extremely obstructive and not user friendly. The old adage is that the customer is the person to be considered first. Not the case with S & H Electronic Services

We took our Delonghi coffee machine in for repair end of 2025. We were informed the water pump needed replacing and that a quote would be sent. January 2026 we returned to the store in Goodwood to find out the status of the machine. They informed me it would be better to but a new pump in and that the cost was R650. They said we could wait and that it would take 30 min to install. We decided to leave and collect the following day at which point we were emails an invoice of R1500. When I called Letcha she said the unit is ready and that we have to pay the R1500 to release the machine. When I argued that the amount was not what was quoted and 4 hours labour was excessive she put the phone down on me. Delonghi is a great product I feel they need better representation in Cape Town.

I had a very poor experience with my annual service and parts replacements for my bean to cup coffee machine. My coffee machine was working fine the morning, I dropped it off and was contacted two weeks later stating that the water reservoir was not being picked up and a replacement part was needed. (Strange, as it was working fine when I dropped it off and I was not off-roading on my way there). The replacement part took about 1 month and when I went to pick up the machine, I asked for the old part ... which was now cracked and broken down the side. The story was that the front panel had to be bought separately, and that the technician broke the water tank to remove the old panel and put it onto the new panel. No communication, no heads up that it was sold separately ... just a new talk and a broken old tank. The response was a shrug and "ja, I don't know". This feels very much like a cover up. My machine also now behaves differently and when I asked what the technician changed and how I could get the previous behaviour back ... the response was: "No software updates was performed as that is the normal way of functioning.", but that was not the way it was working when I dropped it off... To be honest, this is very bad customer service -- if your machine if out of warranty - DO NOT TAKE IT HERE, TAKE IT SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I gave S&H a bad review (which I deleted) as I did not have a clear understanding of how their business operates. I received a call from S&H and ServiceTec (the first time in my 64 year life that a company actually follow up). They clearly explained the situation to me. I also want to apologize for any inconvenience I might have caused due to the bad review. Thank you for the excellent service received from S&H and ServiceTec.

This is a probably a *****ulent company. I placed an order for Kenwood and Phillips spares. After payment there is zero response or feedback from them at all. I will be in contact with Kenwood International and Phillips International and DEMAND that they REMOVE S&H as a spare supplier. They must also be backlisted by Kenwood and Phillips.

I recently ordered a replacement controller for my Russel & Hobbs electric blanket from S&M Electronic Services, expecting to receive the correct part (RHQEB-01) I had ordered. Instead, I was sent an entirely different, incompatible part (Ru11-1/T3). The invoice clearly listed the correct part number, yet the part I received was completely wrong and did not fit my blanket. When I raised this issue with S&M, I was met with an unbelievably poor response from Rageema, who told me they could not accept the return because the part was supp**** by their supplier. This makes no sense. It’s like ordering bananas, being invoiced for bananas, and receiving oranges instead. This kind of mix-up is clearly the result of poor picking and, frankly, a lack of basic quality control at S&M Electronic Services. I also requested the name of Rageema's superior and was given the runaround. When I asked to speak to this superior, I was told they were in a meeting, and Rageema couldn't say when it would end. This level of customer service is utterly disgraceful. Now, I’m left with a controller that I didn’t order, can’t use, and have no means of returning. This company’s business practices are appalling, and customer service is a nightmare. I wouldn’t trust them with any order, and I strongly advise against purchasing from them if you value your time, money, or sanity. Avoid S&M Electronic Services at all costs.

One of the two Phillips coffee jugs they delivered to me was broken and they REFUSE TO REPLACE it!!! I think my email address has even been blocked by them because I tried emailing photo's to them, as requested, and my emails are returned saying unable to deliver.

Poor and frustrating service received, I order a phillips shaving machine charger online and I paid for it, suddenly the order is now cancelled. I am told the payment was not received I then sent proof but still I am ignored and my order has not been reactivated
