Poisonous
Many have been poisoned, they've had a lot of safety and food fungus issues. The staff are always treated badly and they are currently in litigation for gross human rights violations against their employees. I was personally poisoned and so was my friend. Read rhe Google reviews, it's baaaaad

Best Resturant
Beautiful place to have tea and Cake, they have the best macarons. Hoever the waiters need training, they dont know the menu and need training on customer service so that they make the resturant a 10 out of 10.

Shazmins poor quality food.
Waitress was lovely, friendly and kind, but the quality of food was a shocker. Social media paints it to be a fantastic place, when in reality, it's far from what a French patisserie should be. Scones were tiny, custard on French toast was eggy and tasteless, such an anticlimactic experience.

Shazmins poor quality food.

Definitely returning to Shazmins
My mom was visiting from Cape Town, I came across this cute gem hidden in Sandton city mall so we gave it a try, it was a great experience, the drinks and meals are so unique, the staff are friendly and the manager did regular checkups at the tables. I'll definitely be returning.

ONE OF THEIR EMPLOYEES COMMITING ***** WITH MY ID NUMBER BUT THEY REFUSING TO CLEAR MY NAME WHERELSE THEY KNOW THE PERSON USING MY DETAILS - SO THEY ACTUALLY COMMITTING *****
It shows i was employed by you guys(SHAZMINS) March 2023 but I was fully employed at the company i'm working for now and I have never worked for SHAZMINS so I suggest that you guys remove and clear my name with UIF (labour department) I'M NOT THE ONE RUNNING SHAZMINS, REMOVE MY NAME ON UFILLING THEN I WILL REMOVE THIS POST CAUSE WHEN I CALLED YOU, YOU EVEN SAID YOU KNOW THE PERSON USING MY ID SO YOU MUST SORT IT OUT CAUSE I HAVE NEVER GIVEN MY ID NUMBER TO ANYONE AND WHAT I KNOW IS FOR A COMPANY TO REGISTER YOU AT LABOUR THEY NEED YOUR PHYSICAL ID WHICH SHOWS THAT THERES SOMETHING YOU DOING WRONG. Whatever legal action you want to take do it with labour department not me I'm not the one that registered myself under your company, when i went to claim at labour department they told me that im active at shazmins whilst i have never worked for you.

Fungus on my cake!
I recently visited Shazmin's Luxe Patisserie in Sandton and ordered a Red Velvet Cake (Jan 2024). Unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. As I began enjoying my cake, I noticed a pecu**** taste, initially attributing it to perhaps an unusual flavor from an edible flower topping. However, the situation took a severe turn for the worse as I reached the middle of my cake slice, discovering green, round molds of fungus. The presence of such contamination not only ruined my meal but also led to me falling ill. This is undeniably unacceptable, and I am deeply frustrated by the lack of hygiene standards in the food served at the restaurant. No management at the restaurant has gotten back to me about this incident, this matter was just ignoed!

Pathetic food from shazmins Petite Patisserie
I recently attended an Event held by Mtn and was so disgusted at the food that was served! -Pink burghers with 1 small chicken strip. -The salad looked so sad and dry! Seemed like it was made days before thee event. Not presentable at all. I thought, who serves pink burghers at a big corporate event!? I don't even think children would have appreciated these burghers. The clients actually threw the food away as everyone started complaining about the food! We later found out that it was actually the famous "SHAZMINS PETITE PATISSERIE " that catered for this event! And the owner Ziyad was not even one bit remorseful or apologetic for the pathetic food served ! To this day he refuses to reimburse the event company for the pathetic service and poor food quality. I'm so glad that this was brought to light as going forward, I will not be supporting this business!!
