Shox and Suspension Centre changed my shocks on a Golf 5 Gti and in the process damaged the torque sensor on the steering rack which affects all the steering safety features and is not separately replaceable. Bottom line is they refused to pay or contribute to get this problem resolved which cost me an additional R16K to sort. The owner, Shaune Fryer, was only willing to replace the steering rack with a 2nd hand unit he acquired from a Golf that was written off which I declined - he was not willing to contribute so that I could get the job done properly at VW, even after I advised that I was willing to pay in the difference. This company has zero accountability for its workmanship and actions so stay away and use one of the many other shops in Randburg. Appalling service and attitude by the owner.
