I contacted Simmons head office who told me that the longest mattress they make is 2,2m which is 10cm shorter than the one I bought is 2005. AS I am 2,04m tall it would be fine. Today Mr Pires told me the longest they make is 2,1m after consulting with his director. Its a completely *********** company. I shall contact Serta to get a mattress

A few years ago, I purchased a Simmons mattress and base from Dial-a-Bed. I weigh approximately 75kg, and my wife is considerably lighter. Not long after receiving the mattress, I noticed sagging on my side. We followed the manufacturer’s instructions to rotate and flip the mattress monthly, but the sagging reappeared within a week of each rotation. In an attempt to resolve the issue, I placed a board between the base and the mattress, which offered temporary relief. However, the problems persisted. The centre of the mattress became a raised point, sloping down toward the sides—lying on it felt as though one was sliding off. I contacted Dial-a-Bed, who referred me to a Simmons representative. Upon inspection, he immediately noted the board and informed me that we had been supp**** with the incorrect base. The base was replaced, but the mattress issues continued. I called the representative again, and after another inspection and measurements, he confirmed the mattress was sloping and recommended a replacement. Unfortunately, the same problems emerged with the new mattress. We followed the same rotation process, and once again, a Simmons representative came to inspect it. During the visit, he casually asked my wife whether we intended to post a review on Hello Peter. That prompted me to check the platform—and to my surprise, I found over 30 one-star reviews describing issues nearly identical to ours. Eventually, Simmons collected the mattress for factory inspection. I was later informed that no fault had been found, and the mattress was returned to us. If you're considering purchasing a Simmons mattress, I strongly advise against it. Based on my experience—and the many similar complaints from other customers—the product quality and after-sales support fall far short of expectations.

This is now my 3rd mattress from Simmons. They sink in so deep after a few weeks causing poor spine alignment and terrible pain. They all "hammock". The last one i bought was the select firm...its not firm! Firm when new but not after a few weeks. Sorry Simmons but I will not buy your products again.

I bought a Simmons mattress Black Friday 2022. Was advised by the store that I had to purchase the base as well for guarantee and warranty purposes. So I did, even though the previous base was still perfect. On delivery I already noticed that the new base material / fabric was really loosely woven and just did not appear of high quality. My suspicion was confirmed … when Recently we noticed the fabric on one side is simply disintegrating. I went back to the store as I’m concerned that the disintegration of the base fabric will impact my mattress warrantee. The store could not assist in this matter but instead sold me a base cover/ wrap and advised that I might have to buy a whole new base. This I feel is ridiculous as my base is barely 2 years old. UPDATE: After my initial complaint, Simmons promptly reached out and took exceptional care in addressing my concerns. The team thoroughly assessed my case, and the necessary replacements were made without issue. I truly appreciate the effort they put into understanding the situation fully. The customer service was professional, attentive, and ensured a smooth resolution. This experience has certainly restored my confidence in the brand. Thank you, Simmons, for going above and beyond to demonstrate why you are a leader in quality and service.

I went back to the store (Bed Centre Woodlands) as I’m concerned that the disintegration of the base fabric will impact my mattress warrantee. The store could not assist in this matter but instead sold me a base cover/ wrap and advised that I might have to buy a whole new base as Simmons have brought out a new base with better material. This I feel is ridiculous as my base is barely 2 years old. We bought Simmons for the main reason as it’s highly prized for its quality but I see now that this was unfortunately a very expensive mistake , which I will not advise nor support anyone to take in the future.

We bought a Simmons Sherbourne king size XL mattress for roughly R40k. Within a few months it started to collapse which was due to the incorrect base being supp**** by Dialabed (another company not to do business with). So it and the correct Simmons base were replaced with new ones. Roughly 2 and a half years later the mattress started to form indentations even with turning the mattress as per the instructions. Simmons first wanted to charge me R8k to "FIX" it then decided to repair it free of charge once they checked the guarantee date of the delivery of the second mattress. They now have loaned has an entry level mattress that has no pillow top and minimal padding. Even to get to this stage it has taken over a month and I have been shoved from pillar to post between the supplier and Simmons would get no feedback from either, if I didn't continually follow up we would still be waiting for a 'manager' to call which hasn't happened as yet. Both my wife and I now suffer from back problems and now have to sleep on this below par mattress for 3 weeks until the return of our repaired mattress. This is the worst service I have experienced with a no care attitude towards the customer and their well being. I would not recommend purchasing a Simmons mattress at any cost. Their claims of been a superior brand and product is false....they definitely make a sub par mattress and I would not recommend them at all.
