Bought some goods on BidorBuy via an auction, paid immediately and then received an email from Simply Shopping with a tracking number via Fastway. When I checked the website, the tracking number could not be found. I waited a week or so and then followed up with Simply Shopping only to be told that they were having issues with the courier. I asked for a copy of the waybill which they could not produce. I asked them to send another item but they declined saying that they would prefer to refund me “because they need to claim from the courier”. They had stock, just declined to send another one, only do a refund. BidorBuy were useless, absolutely no help from them so I sent Simply Shopping my banking details and got my refund. I then saw them advertising the same item again which annoyed me! BidorBuy eventually woke up and started emailing me but they are useless, nothing but a postbox. Simply Shopping stuck to their response, “we cannot send another item until the claim is processed BUT we can refund you?” You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to work out why, I bought the item on auction at a good price, Simply Shopping bailed from the transaction by blaming the courier. If they were a trusted seller, they would have sent me a replacement item, something I asked them to do a few times. Scam!
