Bought some goods on BidorBuy via an auction, paid immediately and then received an email from Simply Shopping with a tracking number via Fastway. When I checked the website, the tracking number could not be found. I waited a week or so and then followed up with Simply Shopping only to be told that they were having issues with the courier. I asked for a copy of the waybill which they could not produce. I asked them to send another item but they declined saying that they would prefer to refund me “because they need to claim from the courier”. They had stock, just declined to send another one, only do a refund. BidorBuy were useless, absolutely no help from them so I sent Simply Shopping my banking details and got my refund. I then saw them advertising the same item again which annoyed me! BidorBuy eventually woke up and started emailing me but they are useless, nothing but a postbox. Simply Shopping stuck to their response, “we cannot send another item until the claim is processed BUT we can refund you?” You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to work out why, I bought the item on auction at a good price, Simply Shopping bailed from the transaction by blaming the courier. If they were a trusted seller, they would have sent me a replacement item, something I asked them to do a few times. Scam!
I purchased goods from Simply Shopping on the 10th September 2020 who then sent me a tracking number for Fastway Courier service. More than 3 weeks later and the tracking number still doesn’t appear on the Fastway website, I have no idea where my goods are, and no one is taking ownership to resolve the matter. Simply Shopping are “Simply Blaming” the courier stating they are impossible to get hold of. I don’t know if I have been scammed or not but this is not acceptable. Fastway must respond to the Simply Shopping claim that they have lost loads of deliveries or take ownership for the debacle. Any company that behaves like this does not deserve to remain in business, Fastway and Shipping Shopping alike.
Worst customer support service possible. I bought an item from Simply Shopping via a bid, paid them promptly and received a 5 star rating back. I then received a tracking number from Simply Shopping for Fastway Courier which does not appear on their website. Simply Shopping claim that they are having problems with Fastway and are trying to deal with it BUT they are making no effort to ship another item. They have offered to refund me but I am definitely not giving my credit card details to them and besides, this was done via a bid which means I got the item at a good deal. It’s been 3 weeks now and I still have no idea if Simply Shopping is a scam or not, I’ve complained to Bidorbuy but they are putting their heads in the sand. I will not buy anything from Simply Shopping again, they have made no attempt to resolve the matter with me, just a load of BS about courier problems.
Signed an order for the delivery and installation of a swimming pool cover on 30th November 2017, paid a 50% deposit with a guarantee that the cover would be installed by 11th December 2017, then the 14th and finally, a notice on the 18th Dec to say that it cannot be done in 2017 at all. It's now May 2018 and I still haven't received either the pool cover or my deposit back. I took the co-owner, Nico Basson, to the small claims court on the 2nd May, judgement was served against the guy to settle the amount owed by today but he still hasn't done so. I am one of many victims this guy has 'stolen' from but I will not let it rest until he has refunded me in full.
